server error 404

When trying to connect to many websites on my mac mini, I'm getting the message 'server error 404', file or directory not found. How can I resolve this?? All updates done and restarts...

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

The 404 error means that the site can't be found. The IP address given by the DNS server does not exist.

There is no site at expatwoman.com, perhaps you meant expatwomen.com

I get a 404 error on expatwoman.com, but if I connect via the IP address I can connect (79.170.40.224), that may be a problem at their end.


Try going to the IP address and tell me whether you can get to the site. Paste this address . 79.170.40.224 . into Safari's address bar.
