iPhone 6: Apparent backlight uniformity issue

My new Verizon iPhone 6 64GB exhibits a darker region on the top 1/8th of the display. It is most evident when displaying a white background. It is difficult to tell whether it's a chromaticity issue (AMLCD issue), a luminance uniformity problem (backlight), or something else all together.

Anyone else notice this effect on their new phone?

I have the same exact problem with my 64GB 6. It is becoming "Black" due to discoloration in the top left portion in the status bar by the carrier. I've been through so many Apple products and theyve had nothing but problems.

iPod 5th Gen- LCD black out

(Replacement iPod)- Battery problems

iPhone 5- "Swollen Battery" according to the Apple Store. Basically really terrible battery. Like 100% to 50% in like 5 minuets

(Replacement)iPhone 5- LCD black out

iPad Mini- Nothing surprisingly

iPhone 6 (Current)- Discoloration in top left portion of status bar

I think that Apple should step up their game because this is ridiculous. I had a Samsung Galaxy S4 for 1-2 years and it had absolutely no problems at all…
