I have Zoom disabled on my 6 Plus and the Control Center still doesn't work about 20% of the time- Usually when I'm getting in the car and trying to resume the podcast I was listening to, or trying to turn Bluetooth on to take some notes with a keyboard. I've resorted to pulling up Siri and telling her to "Resume podcast" for the former, and pulling up the Settings app for the latter.

Edit: Hm, I hadn't noticed that there is an 8.1.3 update; maybe they gave this issue some attention. Here's hoping...

I have figured out the solution to all of our problems!!! We can keep the zoom function ON!!!! Yay!

Step one. Turn back on the beloved zoom function.

step two. Tap screen with 3 fingers.

step three. Select window zoom. (If already selected move on to step Quatro)

step qautro. Select Resize lens.

and for the moment you've all be waiting for... Drum roll..

the grand finale step. IS...

shrink the window to the smallest size.

AFter you have done these 5 steps, you can thoroughly enjoy having all three functions at once. If you switch back to Full Screen Zoom (if that be your preference) the notification and control centers will remain functional! Bon apetit!

update.. i have been successful enlarging the window while keeping the centers functioning by making sure the window is in the shape of a square.

EDIT: Oh never mind--apologies, I just saw an earlier reply stating the same.

This worked on my iPhone 5 (iOS 8.2) with no need to go change settings; no need to restart. All I had to do to get the Notification and Control centers working properly again was to zoom in (3-finger tap) and zoom out again. Once I zoomed in, I tried swiping up and--tada!--the Control center peeked out at me. I zoomed out and saw that they both were working properly again.

Hope it always works like that (though I'm hoping more that they fix this).

Thank you! This worked for me. I disabled the accessibility zoom feature. As soon as I did this access to the control panel and notifications panel started working again without rebooting. The zoom via the home button and also three finger tap zoom now work & does what I need when needed without interfering with access to the panels. I hope this is a permanent fix. Thanks for your post!
