Notification center and control center not working on iPhone 6 ios 8

Upon further testing, I found the mag glass / control center disabling glitch is triggered by using the magnification glass's handle and moving it around. Zooming in/out WITHOUT moving the mag glass is required to re-enable the control center (with no further steps or reboot needed). Fullscreen zoom still not affected by this glitch.

I get this on my iPhone 6 Plus and have done since the Beta. The Control Center refuses to swipe up at time. Camera swipes up fine though. If I swipe to the PIN entry screen and back, the Control Center starts working again.

Running latest software in iPhone 6 plus (8.1) and problem is not solved. Can not swipe up or down when phone is unlocked. When locked it works fine. By switching off 'zoom' in accessibility it works fine. Would be nice if I didn't have to switch off zoom to make swiping work. Grrr

I too experienced this. It seems like everyday I find a new bug in the software. The resprings are what really drives me crazy.

Okay, just happened again today. This driving me crazy. I just did a reset of network settings and reset all settings this paat week for other issues. Fixed one issue to have another. Frustrating. I can't wait for a fix for these issues.

I'm having the same problem I just got the iPhone 6 Plus 64GB and it was working fine for a day and now it's not working. I used to have the same problem with my iPhone 5S and now it's happening with the iPhone 6 Plus. After restarting it works then it stops again. Such an issue shouldn't occur on a new device and the latest IOS.

Did anyone figure out a solution For this?

unfortunately not. It hasn't hapowned today. I let it just sit for a few hours and it has worked since. Hopefully 8.2 will fix it.

Turn on, then off....all the setting within Settings>General>Accessibilty>Zoom

My fix personal was simply turning off "FOLLOW FOCUS". I believe this new "ZOOM" addition to the ios is faulty so I believe the majority of us dont need it at all.

After testing on 3 different phones, the full responsiveness of the grabbers has returned.

Read through this entire thread after much frustration... I tried ALL advice to correct this...

iPhone 6 (64gb) iOS 8.1.2 Brand new! Bought this phone today (12/9) worked fine on my iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1.2

I did NOT do a restore to transfer data, I treated this like a brandy new install.

I can swipe down in the Notification Center, however I cannot swipe up at all...

Camera swipe from lock screen seems to be fine, no issues.

Swiping up to get to the notification center seems to be the only issue so far.

I also just noticed that if I turn the phone to landscape view, in app, then swiping up to access the control center works just fine. No luck in portrait view.

I think it's because the camera app is in the bacground.
Kill it in multi-tasking list then the notification center and control center work fine again.

Happened again. This time with iOS 8.1.2. The zoom setting didn't work. I went to my settings to turn off my Bluetooth and all of a sudden it started working amazingly. Maybe 8.2 will fix this issue.

The zoom is the culprit. The get around if you don't want to turn off the zoom feature is to make sure the mag window is in the middle of the screen when you turn it off. For some reason if it's either right at the top or the bottom of the screen, swipe access to the notification center stops working when you go back to normal view.

Hey all! Is there the way to point Apple's attention on this annoying problem? I need Zoom and Control Center in the same time!
