Download music to iphone (vs. cloud icon on iphone)

How do I download my music to my iphone vs. the cloud? I synced my new phone to my iTunes but when I access iTunes on my phone, all my music shows the cloud icon and has to download through wifi before I can listen. Is there a way to download my music files to my new iphone?
