Same here. Tried several things but with no luck. Still unable to give a call via BT.
Ive tried everything I've read so far on various discussion boards, I can get connected now but when i make a call or receive the sound doesn't come through the car, Tried iPhone 5 running IOs8 and its all ok so it must be the iPhone 6 causing the problem
Got it working this morning. Try this :
- delete phone from BT connexion on your car
- delete the BT pairing on your iphone
- Reset All Settings on the iPhone (you won't lose any data, just some settings that can easily be reconfigured)
- Pair both equipment again via BT
It should work. Looks like some old settings from my 5S have been transferred to the iPhone 6 and that causes some issues.
Hoe this helps
Mine had problems as well and I tried the above got it to work.. however I cant see my messages emails ect... Anybody has this working?
Unfortunately, my suggested fix is only temporary. Tonight, I tried to use my iPhone 6 in my car via Bluettoth but that didn't work. I guess we'll have to wait for Apple to fix the issue in the next iOS release.
yes i got mine to work following the above, when i turned phone and car off and went back I had the same problem 😟
Mine too. It was working after I did "Reset all settings" and then went back to not working after I turned the car off and on
Same problem for me. But, I don't think it is a iOS issue. I used another iPhone (5s) that I have and that is running 8.0.2 and it works perfectly fine with the BMW even after turning the car off and on multiple times. I'm thinking that it has to do with iPhone 6 and 6 plus.
my wife's iphone 6 connects and works perfectly even after power cycling the phone etc.
Spoke to apple, they are sending me a replacement phone, see what that does.
I have 320D, navi busines.
I change phone from 5 to 5s, after pair - i have all connection, but i dont have sound in car. All calls silence!!!!
I try re-pair, network setting reset - NOTHING!!!!
APPLE I NEED FIX TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!
I have same issues. BMW 535, no issues pairing my 5S. Paired my 6, and it could make calls but would immediately disconnect from bluetooth the moment a call would pick up. Reset all settings, and it seemed to work. Then, when I turned the car on the next morning, same issues.
Additionally, when I plugged the iPhone into the USB in the center console, I received a message telling me that my audio settings were no longer available via bluetooth.
Very frustrated.
Be advised, if you have not figured it out yet, that connecting with your cable to your car phone works around the Bluetooth problem with iPhone6 while we wait for Apple to figure this out.
I got my iPhone 6 yesterday and had the same problem with my 2015 BMW. I think I found a solution:
1. Tether the phone to your computer
2. Do a full backup to your computer
3. Restore the phone's software
4. Restore the backup. You now should have your phone back to where it was before the restore
5. Forget your vehicle from the list of bluetooth devices on the phone
6. Delete your phone from the list of BT devices on your car
7. Re-pair the phone as a new device with the car
So far, that solution has worked for me. I turned the car on and off about three times to un-pair and re-pair the bluetooth, and everything seems to work. Hopefully it lasts.
Good luck,
John
HI John
have you tried turning your phone off and on ?
I found that once the phone is turned off and on it reverted back to the problem.
