Screen popping sound iphone 6

Just discovered that my new 3 day old iPhone 6 64GB screen clicks in and out if pressed on the middle right hand side.

I doesn't look like it's loose but is isnt the way it should be.

I have AppleCare+ but have to wait till Friday because the iPhone 6 isn't released in the Netherlands yet. I assume my iPhone will be replaced for a new one.

(Sound and issue is similar as in video attached but then on new iPhone 6) Will make own video later on.

Does anyone else have this issue?

I went to the Apple Store last night, but since the popping sound was happening about 50% of the time for me, they were not able to reproduce it. The technician did take the phone out back and he opened it to inspect the screen and body of the phone and put it back together when they couldn't reproduce the issue, but I'm hoping that just the act of them opening/closing up the phone might take care of the issue if it truly was something not fully tightened. I hope you have better luck, Tim!

I had this same issue - screen clicking/popping in the top left corner. I believe this is actually a side effect of the latest "bending issue" that was revealed yesterday. Basically, the frame is bending ever so slightly on our phones - enough for the glass to become raised in the upper left corner. As a result, you can "click" down this glass nearby the area of the frame that is bent.

For the people in this tread, our phones are probably bent to a very minor degree - so much so that we wouldn't even notice it. But, put your phone face down on a perfectly flat surface and take a look at the frame (by the volume buttons). You'll see that the frame is, in fact, bent.

I went to the apple store and, of course, couldn't reproduce the issue; however, the nice guy still replaced my phone. So far, no issues although I will be using a case moving forward. It would be a real tragedy if this was a design flaw that prevented us from leaving the phone in our pockets!

Dear god, I didn't want to believe you Jason, but after placing my phone screen down (because of the protruding camera lens on the back) on _multiple_ flat surfaces, I noticed the slightest wobble, diagonally, which would cause the lower right corner for me specifically to have the 'popping' sound once in a while. And I mean ever so slight wobble, but only in one direction (every time I tested it too), the other two corners are solid on the surface. I have an appointment with Apple tomorrow evening so they can officially document it at the very least. It's so slight, I don't even care about a new phone, but I know they'd want real statistics for something like this. And in case anyone was wondering – I wear loose shorts (cargo style shorts), keep the phone in my front left pocket, and most of the time have it on my desk at work or at home. Never sat on it, don't wear skinny jeans or tight clothes of any kind, and have it (for what it's worth) in a leather (Apple) case. I would be the first to admit if I mishandled this phone in any way, and so far I haven't... but give it time and I'm sure I'll drop it. 😉

hi there I'm from the uk took my phone in today to apple store and the cause of the clicking its because the body is bending and twisting the genius had told me that since the phone is bent i am no longer under warranty and i have to pay £200 to get it replaced (i have kept my phone in MINT condition) this was clearly a manufacture issue and so after about 2 hours of arguing i basically got told to either pay up or leave and so i decided to go to another store to complain and ask how they can build a phone that bends in your pocket and then basically charge you to get a new one and the other store looked at my phone and said i don't know why they've said that but we can replace it for you they even gave me a screen protector for the trouble

I Discovered the same issue last night whilst playing the new FIFA 15 Game. The screen was popping in and out of situ in the top left corner near the volume up and vibrate buttons. I went straight to the iPhone store in Stratford City UK this morning and they replaced it without question. I asked if they had received any other complaints and they said one or two.

One other point of note was that there were few people talking to apple staff about bent 6 plus. It would appear from my observations this morning that the problem is more widespread than the 9 Apple claim to have had reported.

Overall I was very happy with the service but I do wonder what would have happened if I'd noticed this after the 14 day no quibble warranty had passed.

I Have the same issue too, the sound coming out from top left corner near the volume up and vibrate bottom , what causing this issue is because the top left body is bend to a very minor degree enough for the glass to become raised in the upper left corner. As a result, you can "click" down this glass nearby the area of the frame that is bend. I fix it by banding the coner back to the body side of the phone. what causing my issue is because I have a tight case, and I pull out the phone from the tight case few time, and bended the phone very minor degree that I wouldn't even notice it.

hope this can help U guys fix the problem
