Lock screen and other app stuck on zoomed mode

Three fingers tapped and held in middle of screen worked to bring up the zoom feature.. Reset from there! 🙂

Double tap using three fingers on the screen.

Tap twice or 3 times with 3 fingers.. I had the same problem but I fixed it by doing that.

Same crazy problem. I tried for hours to get my passcode in but couldn't because of the large screen distortion. Two tries of tapping three fingers at the top......and it worked !! THANK YOU. It was like some crazy Apple Magic. 🙂

Try triple-tapping the home button. If that does not do it, then after double-tapping with 3 fingers, thendrag the three fingers on the screen to reduce the zoom.

I Have that happen rather frequently on my iPad and iPhone and it usually corrects itself when I do a hard power off. However it just happened with my new Hone and it wouldn't correct. it's so frustrating because you really can't use the phone or get to the Internet. But I found that by double tapping with 3 fingers anywhere in the screen corrects it. Apparently double tapping with 3 fingers is a "feature" to help you quickly magnify something. But at least I know know how to quickly correct it.

Reply from James Brown2 is absolutely correct. I was able to get out of Zoomed mode using three finger tap on the top right area of the screen. I am on iOS 8.3 and iPhone 6. Repeating the same tap takes you back into the Zoomed mode!! Now I know how to fix this issue!!

This happened to my iPhone 6+ and my iPad 2 after I had enabled the Zoom feature in Accessibilty under General in Settings.

To get your device back to normal, hold 3 fingers together and double tap the screen.

If this doesn't work, hold 3 fingers together, double tap the screen and slide down the screen with 3 fingers still held together.

If this doesn't work, hold 3 fingers together, double tap the screen, release the screen, then still holding 3 fingers together touch and gently press the screen and slide down.

One of these should work.

When back to normal, I suggest you disable the Zoom feature by going into Settings, General, Accessibility and disabling the Zoom on your iPhone and iPad.
