Lock screen and other app stuck on zoomed mode

the exact same thing is happening to me. my home screen and snapchat is fine. But my lock screen and all my other apps are on zoom mode! this is annoying me so much. i reset my phone and it’s still not working. i went to settings and it said it was on standard when it’s really not. apple what should i do?

What I do is hold the home button and the power button at the same time. The iPhone does a reboot. Works for me. My guess is they built a subtle bug into the iPhone sixes so you want to upgrade to the eight.

Once I read James Brown2's reply, it only took a minute to get out of zoom mode/desktop frozen. I kept tapping 3 fingers near the top center of the screen, and fairly quickly a "zoom out" option appeared. I now know I can keep tapping to alternate between "zoom in" and "zoom out."

No I didn't. I have gotten used to it now since I have had this issue for a while now. It's not really that big of a problem, because my phone still works. But if you do find a solution, please let me know!

Hold power off button on iphone 6 - 7 plus

Use the 3 fingers to move to slide shut down phone (power off)

Restart phone - Screen will be back to normal

Turn off zoom

Go to settings

General

Accessibilty

Zoom

Turn Zoom and Magnifier off

Hopefully this will fix your issue.

Iphon 8 and X

To shut down your phone you have to hold the bottom of the right hand side button and either volume up or down button at the same time. Once done just follow the same procedure as above.

It may be that the zoom accessibility feature has been enabled. The article linked below details how to go about turning it off.

Otherwise, it may be Display Zoom that's enabled, which is explained in the iPhone User Guide.

Hi, I'm having the same issue. My lock screen and third party apps are stuck in zoomed view, but the home screen is in standard view. The display zoom is set to standard and the zoom accessibility feature is not on. I've tried resetting all the settings, changing the display zoom from standard to zoom multiple times, did a hard reset, and still nothing!! It's very annoying because the zoomed view in all the apps look blurry. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I am having this same issue but with my iPhone 5c 8 os. I never had this issue when I was using the prior os. Any ideas on how I can fix this issue of having in zoom mode to where I can't even see the numbers to access my phone?

Hi it took me forever to get it out of the zoom screen so I could access my phone. What I did is I kept tapping the screen with my three fingers in every spot I could find, then finally I was able to Get the screen out of zoom with a tap on the very top of the screen with three fingers but I'm not sure of the exact spot. This took me three or four hours to get my phone unlocked.

I did a "Restore" on iTunes and it worked. Phone back to normal.

Three fingers tapped and held in middle of screen worked to bring up the zoom feature.. Reset from there! 🙂

Double tap using three fingers on the screen.

Tap twice or 3 times with 3 fingers.. I had the same problem but I fixed it by doing that.
