I am enjoying my iPhone 6 + but today when I tried to join a conference call, I could not enter the call because the conference bridge wouldn't recognize the DTMF tones. I tried on a second iPone 6 plus and had the same problem. I ended up having to use another phone.
Surely this is a bug. I never had this problem with my iphone 5 on IOS 7.

This worked, but I don't know what functionality I'll lose by selecting Data Only in my LTE preferences.

It will limit your data speeds to 3G while you are on a voice call, so if you have to look up something with Safari while on a call, it may take longer.

I work for a Sprint Authorized Service Center. I tried all the options in this thread for the very same issue. No luck. Then as a last resort I swapped the iPhone off the account and activated another device. the second device worked so I swapped the customers phone back. Once swapped the original device was working properly. I think issue may have to do with the WiFi calling code on the account but issue was resolved.

LTE network is incapable of passing DTMF signals used for touch pad control of systems like greetings of your conference system.
Solution:
Click on Setting-Cellular-Cellular Data Options-Enable LTE-Move the check to Data Only. This will fix it.
LTE should have no problem passing the dual tones as they are all in the audio spectrum. Perhaps you are referring to a different type of data.
