Song as Alarm Clock Tone Stopped Repeating with iOS 8

There are a lot of problems with the alarm clock feature now. Don't even know why they had to touch it with this update... I'm posting on every forum I can so that hopefully Apple will see this is a problem!!

Well, after updating to iOS8 I've overslept next morning, the same picture on next morning...then I've figured that out too - if there is an mp3 song set up as an alarm clock ringtone then it won't repeats.

No fix in 8.0.2 too.

Yes, and it's disappointing since a simple option would allow (1) a single play of a song or (2) a continuous loop until the snooze is hit. Now we have to play a symphony to get it to stay on long enough to wake us up.

Happened to me, too (first morning after upgrading). One of those reasons I hate to upgrade and always put it off as long as possible...you never know what they're going to f**k up for you. Add my voice to the chorus of dissatisfied alarm clock users. Why DO they mess with stuff like this?!?

Yep, just happened today for the first time. My kids and I wake up to a fun song and let it go a couple times as we lay in bed... It stopped after the first time... 😟

Same problem. Hace over slept a number of times.

Yes, this is really annoying!!!! I like to listen to the songs I put as my alarm to get me going for the day. You can't do that just listening to it once! Fix this now please Apple.

Still an issue here in iOS 8.3 in June, 9 months later. First time I've ever even tried this feature, putting a small sound clip as my wife's alarm as a joke... only played one time, so it didn't work out so well 😐

Just updated my iOS yesterday. Things seemed okay'ish. Now, I'm slowly beginning to see the flaws in the iOS. Luckily, I didnt oversleep, but to know that I likely will, now that some 'geniuses' decided to make this asinine change, I am rather annoyed.

I can't believe this hasn't been fixed already. A simple opt in or out button is all we ask!
