Song as Alarm Clock Tone Stopped Repeating with iOS 8

This is a statement of fact rather than a question since the Feedback page doesn't allow me to submit anything.
Since the update to iOS 8, my selected MP3 as my Alarm Clock tone no longer repeats. It used to repeat in iOS 7 until you manually turned off the alarm or the Snooze. Now it only plays once and shuts off. Then the Alarm dialogue box remains open. I've overslept twice because of this problem.

I would also like to be able to use my own created ringtones as my Alarm. I am able to use them for my Voicemail and other Alerts, but there's no option for that within the Alarm Clock. Only purchased ringtones.

Still a problem and the worst thing about it for me is that one of my speakers doesn't work and my sound clip is like not even 20 seconds.

Same thing for me.

Except I didn't oversleep yet.

Last week it did repeat -- 30 minutes after the first play, it played again. Randomly. Hasn't happened since or before as far as I know.

It seems common to have it repeat. Why it doesn't, makes no sense.

It repeats again now in alarm since the iOS 9 update!!! I was so irritated like you guys but it works again now!

I don't like that it repeats now. I use songs as alarms for various times throughout the day. I don't keep my phone in my hands all the time. I liked it that it would play to the end of the song and then stop. I can't find a way to choose this option. Is there one?

Dear Apple, Will you please buy back every item you ever sold me because of this issue? You will be held liable for my stay at a Mental Facility if you do not fix the Alarm feature of all the devices if this is not remedied and soon. Please tell me how I can have the alarm only play the song Once and stop. I do not care if other users do t wake up after one play. I do care about my sanity. It worked great. It played one time and stopped. Then I did the upgrade where you try to marry my music collection to my wallet. Well I do not want you to live inside my wallet every month so I think buying back all the products I purchased in good faith that they would continue to function in a consistent manner. If you can fix the alarm issue before the end of February 2016 I will consider forgiving this cruel and unusual sort of lawsuit action. Pleeeeeeaze!

As far as I'm concerned it is "fixed". The repeating custom alarm was a prior feature and repeats until you shut it off like an alarm should. What I suggest you do, is to set a reminder or a calendar notification if you want a non-repeating notification. An alarm should repeat or it's useless as an alarm.
