iPhone 6 screen easily scratched?

Have been taking EXTREMELY good care of my 6+, but the corners already have visible scratches. Anyone else experiencing this?

Same here: iPhone 4 still in use (without Cover, only Bumper) and just a few very little scratches after 4 years!
iPhone 5 the same thing: 2 years with Bumper but without Cover and almost no scratches.

iPhone 6 after a few days only in my front pocket (no working clothes!) and more scratches than iP4 & 5 together! 😮😮😮

Won't imagine how this piece of... gear will look after 2 or even 4 years...

Why do you sell so much crap since Steve has gone, Apple???

Everything that's important to Apple is this
http://www.theverge.com/2014/10/20/7022335/apple-q4-2014-earnings "Huge iPhone Sales" is all that matters - after that the customers have to look for themselves. The Apple 'Forum' has transformed into a sugarcoating, image pushing marketing instrument without a real interest in the help searching customer for quite a long time... So sad.

I used 4S without screen protector/cover for over 2 years, there are no any visible scratches. However, when I switched to 6, there are few fine scratches and one long visible scratch "2 inches" after using for 2 weeks. The reason why I do not use the screen protector is I believes in apple's quality and I want to enjoy the beautiful retina display. So disappointed.

After having read some articles on the web about the scratched issue of the new iphone 6, i discovered that mine is scratched too ... i'm really disgusted about that!

i hope apple will say something about that ! i will try soon to change mine in an apple store.

I have the chance that the scratch on my white iPhone are very slight and if i didn't read any articles, i thought i will never discovered it!

Everyone who is impacted must leave a reply in this post!! Apple must do something !!

I'm from Lyon too. Had no luck ether in Part-Dieu not in Confluence. Answers were the same - cosmetic damage is not covered by the warranty. But, since I was there they might be aware of the problem already.

What I've done: had a chat online with apple care and received same answer about cosmetic damage, but a really helpful guy suggested a phone chat with the manager. Had a chat with the manager couple of days later. Send her a pictures of the phone on request. She was surprised to see the scratches and marked 'exception' on my warranty with the rendezvous for the phone swap.

So you can go to both shops, but don't expect to have any luck. Non managers can't help, because they have a pretty strict rules they don't break. Ask for a chat with a decision maker and be nice to him.

Good luck.

Haven't read all the comments, but in case you haven't found your answer, the Verizon phones are all factory unlocked UNLESS your a potential risk (several broken contracts, insurance claims, and I'm sure other circumstances). I've tested the 6 with MetroPCS sim for a friend when they launched, and it worked.

BTW, none of our 7 company phones (5 6+ and 2 6's) appear to have this defect. Just received the majority of them last week however (though mine has been 100% without case or screen protector for a week; I'm also exceptional careful with my phones though (always left pocket, nothing else goes in that pocket) )

Hi, I don't have any scratches on my 1 month old iPhone 6 Plus but I did find what looks like a small spot under the glass. I keep the screen very clean and I noticed under certain light you can see this small round white speck! I called the Apple Store and they told me to bring it in and will take a look at it. I hope they give me a replacement because seeing that spot is so annoying!!!!! I can definitely see the quality is going down hill with these phones, shame on Apple. I have a genius bar appointment today and I will keep you posted. I hope Apple will take care of all these phones getting scratches so easily.
