iPhone 6 screen easily scratched?

Car wax will fill the scratch, but will wear off. You'll have to keep applying it and deal with a waxy phone. Do not recommend going that direction. Try finding some online 😉

Oh I don't mind that. Listen, it really is OCD. The mark is covered with a sticker, I just saw it because I put the phone under a lamp to align my screen protector. My OCD is telling me it's there. Ι don't see it, it's smaller than half an ant, my mind is just telling me "the device you babied that much has now a mark". I'm pathetic.

I'm gonna cover the part with the mark I just want it gone lol! Are you sure the car wax is gonna cover it? How does it work?

Its essentially just covering up the scratch. I still recommend finding some coating online and paying for the shipping. It follows the same principles cover the scratch. Except the coating hardens after application. Try finding something that'll ship to you. You don't want to use wax, trust me. It's a bit of a dirty job.

Read online that a screen protector is not required as the screen doesn't get easily scratched but in almost a week i have a big scratch in the middle of the screen. It is so annoying. I bought an iPhone but now i completely regret it. Should have gone for the Samsung. Apple doesn't seem to stop disappointing.

All the people dumbing down this problem and suggesting using a screen protector need to rethink their stance. As for the idea to manually start reapplying the oleophobic coating as a fix, well that is pure comedy. Take a step back for a moment. The issue here is that the Iphone 6 screen is INFERIOR TO PREVIOUS MODELS. No amount of workarounds or sugar coating is going to change that and the more certain people try to use smoke and mirrors to hide the fact the less likely Apple are to do anything about it in future models. Keep reporting problems and send out a statement to Apple it needs to ensure this faux pas is not repeated.

I tried a little amount of wax on this mark and I think it kinda worked, I couldn't see it.

I'm going to be honest, I'm regarding myself to be one of the lucky ones with no scratches and this mark is just a sign that my OCD is out of control. The only reason I bought a full can of wax was to cover a tiny little mark, probably even tolerable within the manufacture of the phone, a mark smaller than half an ant, that is below the home button and in an area that is covered with a sticker. Upon inspection after the application I could not see it and I'm not gonna inspect the phone any more cos this kind of behaviour makes me anxious. There is no thing such as a perfect phone that lives up to everyone's standards and all these years with phones I've been trying to keep them like they were just unboxed but unless you put the phone in a glass box and not use it, I don't think this is possible.

So I'm going to try and take it easy.

Using a screen protector is just SMART. Scratch or no scratch, I saw with my own eyes how a screen protector took a hit and broke, but the iPhone itself remained unscathed.

I refer you to my previous point, that we are here to discuss the Iphone screen problem, not how good/ bad a screen protector is.
