iPhone 6 BlueTooth issues with iOS8

I had same Bluetooth issues with iOS 8 on my iPhone 6; no phone/no music streaming although showing as "connected" with my 2 vehicles (VW and Audi).

Apple telephone technical support team solved issue with both cars as follows:

1. Delete the phone from handsfree memory in the Bluetooth car settings.

2. "Forget" the handsfree device (car) in the iPhone Bluetooth settings.

3. Reset ALL settings in iPhone (not just network settings)!!

(note: I had to reset ALL settings twice in a row for this to work.)

It worked in both cars! (Hope it stays working.....?)

You will have to reset wallpaper, and most other settings, as well. Certainly worth the trouble to get car Bluetooth up and running properly.

same here, after you power off and power on the phone, Bluetooth will not work with the car anymore.

I Was having the same problem in jeep grand Cherokee. Could play music via Bluetooth but the hands free phone system wouldn't work.work.t hated to do it but doing settings reset worked for me. Hopefully it continues to work.

it will work, just don't power off or sync with iTune.

Ok I live on my phone. Apple needs to get in front of this and fix the problem NOW! I have been an Apple fan for years but Apple is causing me to not be able to do business. Fix it or I look for a new solution whi is regrettable. Very sad that Apple did not do some basic test on the system

i just got my iPhone 6 and I was scared that Bluetooth in my car won't work but it works, I didn't do anything special. I have infinity JX35 SUV. Good luck everyone

The new 8.0.2 update DID NOT FIX THIS ISSUE AT ALL. After you power off and on with the phone, same issue as the 8.0, all 3 of my cars lost Bluetooth connection and shows no signal at all. Good job Apple, what a lousy update you guys did.

I am at my wits end with my iphone 6. I have reset it twice, erased everything, set up as a new phone, deleted all profiles in the Bluetooth area and in the car. Finally it works but it takes at least 30-45 seconds to dial when I use the Mercedes Bluetooth voice call system. On every call when it finally connects the person at the other end has said hello to dead space before I am actually able to respond. I also have a Bluetooth connection on my home phone and the same problem. It takes forever to connect to the person I am calling. When I use the phone without the Bluetooth it works fine. This was not a problem on my iphone 5s with IOS8. I'm think of returning the iphone6 since Apple doesn't seem to care or even acknowledge this problem.

Same here. Same problems. I am also returning if not solved and jumping ship.
