Problems After update to iOS 8 on ipad 2

My ipad 2 is crashing and freezing. Even after updating to IOS 8.2. Even oping this window was difficult. Keyboard did not respond for several moments. Facebook never loads on the first attempt. Takes at least three tries and then it takes more time for the ap to start responding. I deleted and reloaded the app and still have the same issues.

i agree Apple will fix but time is very important. Please help.

I have an iPad 2 that I upgraded to iOS8. my question is will Apple acknowledge there is an issue with iPad 2? I'm wondering if they over estimated iOS 8's ability to run on iPad 2's hardware. It seems buggy, lags and crashing so much I don't want to use It.

Apple needs to give users the option to run whatever OS they want, just like on computers. Forcing users to upgrade to an OS that slows down their devices, with no way to reverse the error, is unconscionable. Remember when Apple products just worked? That's the whole reason I switched to Apple from Microsoft in 2004. Apple is the new Microsoft. Everything they release now is buggy. I completely skipped Mavericks because it was too buggy on one of my machines. I won't be upgrading to Yosemite until a few updates have been released. I just don't want the headache.

Rubbish. But if that is what you believe then tell Apple and not us.

ANy solution? My IPad has also become useless. I can't read my documents stored in Goodnotes. The app closes when I touch the tile button to jump pages. I cant possibly scroll every page before I can go to the rlevant page. Quickedit also can no longer read the word document. Safari also not working.

Appreciate advice on how to revert back to IOS 7.

why is Apple is so irresponsible to release software which causes breakdown in so many apps?

HOw to tell Apple? i just went to their website and the feeback brought me to this forum. Apple is giving us a lot of problems by releasing an OS which has a lot of bugs. My ipad is practically useless now..

I Spent close to one hour trying to find the IPAD feedback link and it kept reverting to the forum..

Seems to me that Apple doesn't want to hear about this issue so they make it difficult to make complaints.

Restoring the iPad 2 and setting up as new does yield better results, but it doesn't always work. It is also a major pain in the butt to set everything back up again.

@petermac87 - I don't say these things lightly, and I have told Apple. I am a fan and have been for quite some time, but they have let us down recently with half-baked software that we can't downgrade. Although it has become common practice in recent years to force people to upgrade, it isn't right. Nobody wants to pay for something that isn't ready for primetime. I know they don't force you to upgrade, but they make it miserable for you if you don't. The fact that you can't clear the badge on the Settings icon if there is an update is bad enough.

After upgrading to ios8 , I am unable to synchronize my iPad with iTunes . Can't transfer any movies to my iPad from I tunes . And as every one has said before, it's really slow, sort of hangs. The one thing,for which apple was famous is now gone .... FLUIDITY of usage...

Apple Either her fix it or help us het ios7 back...

Yes, because it is a Forum for people with issues. They represent a minuscule percentage of 1% of users. In the real world where tens of millions of users have no issue, it puts you in the minority out there. 😉
