Updated to iOS 8.0.1 and lost Cellular service

Same here. Was hoping the upgrade would fix an alert problem I was having, now I have a wifi paperweight.

iOS 8 Update Nightmare!

iOS 8 Update let me without the iPhone 5.

After I made the update from iOS7 to iOS 8 the carrier disappear.

I contact my carrier provider 3 Three UK and they told me that I not supposed to do the update.

They told me that the new versio of iOS 8 is only for iPhone 6.

They told me to contact Apple customer service.

After they evaluate my phone they told me base on their presumption that is a hardware fail and I need to pay £200 to replace my handset.

And the iOS 8 nightmare continue..
