iOS 8.0.1 - no mobile network

Same thing here. No network or Touch ID on my 6 Plus.

Simply connect your phone to iTunes and back up your data. Then, click the “Restore iPhone” button and follow the on-screen instructions. It’s a huge pain, but at least it’s better than having your shiny new iPhone turned into a big expensive iPod touch.

Same here no service ... Just got the phone can't use it ... Wow I was so excited .... Without wifi I wouldn't even be able to surf the Web. wonder if th people at Apple are having issues with their phones as well... This ***** !!! I've always been a fan of Apple , but they are slipping big time . What he say on the keynote ... Everything is great .... Ummmmm apparently NOT !!!!!

Did someone actually test this release on iPhone 6 series???

For me (iphone 5 64gb), I could download the update but when I tried to install (integrity check) it it was says to me I have no internet connection.

They left it on us to test it on iPhone6. what a pain!

same here in Germany. my Base/E-Plus carrier SIM card isn't working anymore since I have made the update 8.01 for a few minutes ago. seemed to be Apple who is causing the problem and not the telephone carrier..... this is very poor

I had no Carrier in the uk, I've just put my iPhone 6 into recovery mode and restored to ios8, everything seems to be ok now..

This is really an inexcusable blunder. Brand new phones that they managed to brick less than a week after release. Worse, the usual nothing from Apple on a fix. I thought apple was all about the experience. This is a poor experience.

CNet has a solution until Apple fixes it themselves. I just chatted with an AppleCare rep and they essentially told me to do the same thing:

Yep. I can confirm it. Regular restore wasn't working. Called Apple... They asked me to put phone in recovery mode. Click restore. iTunes re-downloaded the file, restored and I have the cellular connection

I have an iPhone 6 64GB with T-Mobile. iOS 8.0 was working well and when my phone updated to 8.0.1 it completely stopped my service and i cant use my finger print scanner anymore. Please apple fix this as soon as possible! i work with my phone all day long and need to receive calls.

Same problem with 128 on AT&T. Tried restoring with computer but it still won't work
