iOS 8.0.1 - no mobile network

Hi,

just updated to iOS 8.0.1 on my iPhone 6 64GB, mobile carrier is T-Mobile in Germany. Since the update I lost the mobile network entirely, it shows "no network". Reading some news sites in Germany, there seem to be others with the same problem. With 8.0 everything worked fine...

On my iPad3 4G the update worked fine, same on the iPhone 4S (both also with T-Mobile)

Regards,

Sascha

I went to Apple seven years ago because of its reliability and my intense frustration with the unreliability of Windows. Hard to believe that they did not test this update before it was posted since it appears to effect every 6 and 6plus. The better part of the day is gone and no fix from Apple. #1 issue - a phone must be able to make and receive calls. Everything else is a luxury. That it would take hours to fix that basic issue is a serious problem. Will Apple be compensating its customers for this gaffe? I have now had to restore and wait hours again while my phone reloads all of the apps and all of the music and next I will have to reupdate all of the apps that have been updated since Sunday when I last backed up. Guess I should know better than to trust and backup before every update and only update at least one day after release and after checking that there are no problems.
