When my iPhone rings so does my iPad. Just started doing this since I did the ios8 update

Go to settings then select Sounds. There you will see a volume slider for ringer and alerts. If you move this slider all the way to the left it will silence the ringer. Note that this will also silence alerts such as Mail and Texts. You can also just turn the iPhone Cellular Calls off under FaceTime settings. You would still have other continuity features, just not the phone.

I turned it off on my IPHONE and that handled the issue
