iPhone 6 Plus pre-order delivery estimates

I'm hoping someone with a crystal ball might be able to answer this question. I pre-ordered the iPhone 6 plus(Space Gray 64g) at 5:00am, on September 12th, from Apple.com. I'm still showing an estimated delivery time of October 13-20th. I've previously always pre-ordered, by phone, through At&T and had my phone delivered on launch day. Has anyone ever had their estimated delivery date "moved up? Or has anyone had it moved up on this iPhone launch? Is anyone getting tired of Apple never having enough product or underestimating the potential demand? Maybe it's just me but it's getting old. Any genuine thoughts? I'm new at this waiting 4 weeks for delivery thing. Many thanks from CA.

No idea. I'm on Verizon. This is my 4th iPhone. I always buy from Apple. Each time the logistics make no sense. It's almost like the fill orders in a random order. Same with when the iPad launches. I know it hard believe me, I'm constantly refreshing the UPS page to see if the phone has left China. When it does I'll track its flight. I'm obsessive. It will come.

So you're a perfect example of how there's no rhyme or reason to Apple's shipping process. You didn't pre-order but your phone has shipped! I think that's why so many of us are, or were frustrated, and can't make sense of the shipping process. If you pre-order you should get the phone first; at least that's what Apple leads us to believe. Having said that, we now know many who ordered days later and have already received their phones! Crazy! Congrats to you! I hope you enjoy it!

I Can't see how Next would cause shipping delays but I suppose anything'a possible at this point. I understand your frustration. I was considering canceling my order when it said Oct13-20 shipping estimate! I'm glad I didn't as the status changed so quickly! Your phone is out there! Keep checking (as annoying as it is when there's nothing new) You know they have iPhone 6+'a out there; they're not sold out as they want us to believe because they're being shipped and people's shupping dates are moving up quickly! Try and hang in there! I hope your status changes quickly like mine did! : )

Yeah, its whacked. And quite frankly I'm nervous about this phone. There are an awful lot of complaints about various issues hardware and software related. I'm wondering if my order got moved up because a ton of people have cancelled their 6 plus orders due to the whole "bending" issue. I was contemplating canceling mine and switching to a 6 right when it shipped.

I'm two hours and an international border (have to go Canada) away from the nearest Apple Store.
