Home button responding erratically after IOS8 installation on Iphone 4s

Home button just stopped working sometimes or sometimes it land to app kill mode rather than naigating to home screen.

this started just after IOS 8 installation .Any clue about this prob??

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

You will not lose data by resetting, but a reset can cure some glitches after installing new software.
