Health app stopped tracking

I got 6 plus on 19th and health was tracking steps, flights climbed, walking + running distance till 24th.

Suddenly on 24th it stopped working and all the history got deleted.

I didn't update to 8.0.1. Only thing I did on 24th was restarting my phone.

Any thoughts.

I had the same problem. I think the IOS 8.0.2 update broke it. Here's a work around:

1. Select Steps (or whatever you are trying to measure)

2. Select Share Date

3. Select Edit (on the top right corner)

4. Look at the data sources list - there should be two: the iPhone itself and Health.

5. Move the iPhone above Health so that it is a higher priority than Health.

6. Repeat for anything else that is not working.

After I did that it starting showing the correct number of steps.

Hope this helps!
