how do you access internal storage files from a backup on your pc (Dcim files)

I backed up my iphone to my PC. Later I opened up my computer files with the name I saved my backup of my photos on.

I located the file name and see the folder; I click the folder; it opens another folder named; Internal Storage; I open this file and there is another folder named; DCIM; I click this folder then theres 2 folders named with numbers which appear to have photo images; however when I click on either folder there empty.

How do I access the photos that were transferred from my ipod and deleted from ipod after transfer of photos in my computer????

Hi rlefridge,

If you want to access those photos on your iPhone, you can restore the iPhone from the backup. See this article -

iTunes 11 for Windows: Back up your iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad

Once back on the iPhone, you can then import them into your Windows computer. See this article -

iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
