installing iphone 6 from icloud backup

Hi out there!

I just got my iphone 6 about an hour ago, and i backed up my iphone 5s which is running iOS 8.0.0 and when i try to install the iphone 6 and i pick the option to do it from a icloud backup it doesn't work?

I get to the point where i pick the latest backup, it starts then says something went wrong and it failed and that i should fix the uknown problem? any help??
