IOS 8.0.2 = crashing webpages

After installing 8.0.2 and ONLY after installing 8.0.2 ,

webpages keep reloading with the error message:

"a problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded"

Sometimes when i try to do things, sometimes not for the same tasks, sometimes randomly after sitting there untouched a while.

Restarting, and clearing cache does not help.

The same pages works perfectly in all other browsers, and worked perfectly in IOS 8.0.1 and earlier.

(except for file-upload, which works now, but not in earlier IOS 8)

Apple seems to have a lot to learn about beta-testing their stuff, and about formulating error-messages,

"a problem" is really just barely above a useless description 😕.

Nope, that did no difference.

What is that supposed to do?

The pad looked like it was rebooting, but after that the same programs seemed to still be open.

Does IOS not actually reboot properly when you restart it?

A reset (akin to resetting the SMC on a Mac) sometimes fixes odd problems. Did you hold the keys down until the Apple logo appeared? Otherwise you just restarted it. As I recall, when I reset my iPad (it has been a while), nothing was open from before.

I have noticed other reports of wi-fi connectivity problems from users who have installed iOS 8.0.2. Although I usually install everything when it is first released (pioneers have arrows sticking out of their backs 😝) I have deferred iOS 8.0.2 so I have no first hand experience. I have also seen others who have had no problems.

All of that is of no help to you 😟. Since downgrading is not supported, I am sorry to say I have no other ideas.

Thanks.

I'm very disappointed buy the ZERO response from Apple in this matter.

Where is the page at apple.com were they acknowledges the bug, apologizes, and accounts for when it will be fixed?

We are demoing a site on a convention next week, and need it to work at least om our own pads.

Will there be a fix by then or not?

Who knows...

This is just pathetic...
