IOS 8.0.2 = crashing webpages

After installing 8.0.2 and ONLY after installing 8.0.2 ,

webpages keep reloading with the error message:

"a problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded"

Sometimes when i try to do things, sometimes not for the same tasks, sometimes randomly after sitting there untouched a while.

Restarting, and clearing cache does not help.

The same pages works perfectly in all other browsers, and worked perfectly in IOS 8.0.1 and earlier.

(except for file-upload, which works now, but not in earlier IOS 8)

Apple seems to have a lot to learn about beta-testing their stuff, and about formulating error-messages,

"a problem" is really just barely above a useless description 😕.

+1. Also, the bad access exception occurs with just a simple META refresh. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes of refreshing every 10 seconds, but some o ther times it only takes a couple of minutes. very annoying bug, as I was using the meta refresh to monitor security cameras. I switched to javascript refresh and the symptoms are similar... I've heard Jobs had a bad temper as CEO at Apple, but, boy, was he effective!

I Have to agree. Ios 8.0.2 is VERY BUGGY. It should have never been released, if I could go back to ios 7 I would. I'm seeing problems with Apple apps lie Safari and Contacts but my new app, Flipboard has crashed the iPad to the point where I've had to do at lesat 4 head resets to get the iPad 3 working again. I've also noticed that the wifi isn't as "zippy" and switching between apps has a serious lag ( pushing the home button twice) I WAS looking forward to the new iPad airs coming out this month but current owners have the same complaints we do in that forum.

same problem for me. I sincerely regret the upgrade to iOS8. Every 5-10 minutes Safari crashes with the error message.

"A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded"

The error message should read...

"A problem occurred with this OS, have you considered a new iPad?"

This is not a bug, this is an intentional strategy by apple to get those of us with older iPads & iPhones to landfill the old ones.

I've had this problem with my iPad Air mk1 since the iOS 8 update too so I suspect all ages of iPad are affected. It seems to be even worse since the 8.1.2 update. it may very well be my imagination but it seems worse to me if the page is zoomed in. If it's JavaScript crashing though then I guess the level of zoomed-in-ness would have no bearing.
