iPad Mini Retina iOS 8.0.2 problem

Ever since I updated to iOS 8.0.2, there's been random reboots on my device. Is this happening to anybody else?

Yes I too have this issue with my iPad mini retina! (Australia) Random reboots and major keyboard issues (disappearing while typing and at times the "go" button will not work at all. Wifi is also still slow while using safari. Yes I have even reset my divice and started as a new one and still the same issues!

not happy happy at all with Apple atm...

ipad mini retina all updates from ios8 have killed the wifi!!!!!!!! i have tried resetting network settings, deleting profiles, rejoining network etc and no good. full restore on ipad still does'nt fix. i have ipad 3 which had the same issue, but fixed with ios 8.0.2.

i have a 34mb broadband connection and can only get 2mb on ipad, but iphone 5s on 7.1.2 gets 34mb.

APPLE SORT THIS OUT.

Don't be too desperate! Maybe it's time to buy a new iPad instead of a Samsung! 🙂

Have you tried resetting settings? You'll have to put in your wi-fi password again.

Or, backing it all up, and then doing a complete reinstall. Note: you would lose certain saved elements of certain apps--zero.g., some ebook readers have, in the past, not backed up their bookmarks; some news apps don't back up saved stories.

It's really a tough situation-- Apple really needs to give customers a way of rolling back the iOS if they've run into major problems. Given the track record, though, in many cases, the oldest device that Apple, says can support an OS is precisely the one NOT to upgrade. Hence, we have an iPhone 4 and iPad Mini left at iOS 6 even though we could upgrade to iOS 7.

It's also best to hold off upgrading to a new OS for a couple of weeks, too, as there are always glitches. The good news is that Apple does tweak the OSbin later releases to run somewhat better on the oldest devices. Of course, that's not going to help you now, but maybe someone else or in the future!

THere are bound to be others with similar problems, so search the net for, other solutions! Hope that one of the fixes works and gets better for you!

Nice try to market buying a new device. If the problem was not across different models it would be a consideration. However, who in their right mind would purchase a new iPAD only to have the exact same problems? This problem was introduced by Apple and it rests with Apple to resolve or lose a customer base.

Granted, with technology changes, the lifecycle of devices can be short lived as more robust IOS and features come into play. That is understandable. However, it's not acceptable to have these problems across the board with the latest devices, too.

All your suggestions have been tried and everything continues to point back to an Apple invoked issue.

The iOS 8.0.2 does not sort this problem out for the Ipad Mini. The update unables a back-up, unables access to games bought on iTunes, keeps circling on installing soft ware update etc. All this on a device only 2 months old ? Apple got to sort this out asap, no excuse.

A hard reset without a recent back-up means a loss of content and games for my son.

Any help is welcome.

iOS 8 GENERAL PROBLEMS

The same here. My iPad Mini retina became laggy, crashy, with bunch of problems even with this last 8.0.2 update!!

And that's not all:

BLUETOOTH in iOS 8 seems completely BROKEN!!!

After updating my iPhone 5S to iOS 8, (also after update to 8.0.2.), bluetooth service in the phone is completely lost!!

Tried everything, reset network settings, deleted bluetooth devices, renamed iPhone, restarted it (soft reset), NOTHING!!!

I can't connect iPhone with my car bluetooth handsfree anymore.

And that's not all! My iPhone can't even connect with my iPad, so I can forget about Airdrop as well!!!!

So frustrating!!!! As if BT service in the phone is broken!!!

Do I need to say, everything worked flawless in iOS 7!!

what is happening with Apple?!? This lasts too many days already, for how long more should we wait for its reaction?!
