How do I change the email notification settings for Find my iPhone?

I've had find my iPhone for a while now, and I think when I first set it up it asked questions about when you want to receive an email notification.

You could be notified when a sound is played on the device, when the apple ID is used to login on a different decive, when it's put in lost mode...etc. I need to turn off the email notification for when the apple ID is used to login from a device, but I can't figure out how to change any of the notification settings. I can't find where any notification setting are for the app at all. I don't have the newest update (8.0.2) installed yet, so I don't know if that makes any difference.

Please help!

iPhone 5, iOS 8

This "new" "feature" was in place around 3 years ago, removed and has now been reintroduced either deliberately or via a bug. I suspect the latter because the email notification states "Your Apple ID (blahblahblah@blah.com) was used to sign in to the Find My iPhone app on a new device."

But actually it's not a new device, the mail is sent every time a device is used, whether for the first time or the umpteenth time.

Many users use the app to see where their family members are. I use it to see if my partner is on her way home from work, for example. Every time I do this now the inaccurate (it's not a new device) mail is sent.

So I'm assuming and hoping it's a bug that will get fixed. Unless of course it's a feature designed to protect the privacy of a phone thief.
