AirPrint not working with iOS 8 (Samsung C460w)

There is an update available to update the firmware, but is only compatible with Windows. I talked to a representative and was told there is no option to update with a Mac. THATS STUPID!!!! I will be printer shopping since I do not own any Windows products.

On Samsung's support twitter stream they posted this today, "Please email mprint.sec@samsung.com for further guidance on resolving the AirPrint issue with iOS 8."

We have the exact same problem at home. Same printer, working on iPhone 4 and 5S and iPad using ios 7, but not on iPhone 5 C and iPad using ios 8.

I have no doubt that this is another ios 8 bug.

Thanks for the information rbii. I emailed mprint.sec yesterday and they responded with a promise for a firmware release within the next couple weeks.

We have investigated your problem and found some of Samsung printers have the compatibility issue with iOS8.
- You can still print with iOS7 and latest Mac OS X on Macbook before this compatibility issue with iOS8 is patched.
We have the plan to patch firmware on Samsung Printer Web site urgently.(Maybe within two weeks)
Please upgrade your printer when patch firmware is released on web site(http://www.samsung.com/Support/ProductSupport/download/index.aspx)

Have the same her. Just bought a brand new Samsung SL-M2070W Printer and its dead as it can be when an Airprint job is sent to this printer

At least for my Samsung printer (M2875FW) a firmware update has been issued which fixes the Airprint problems for me.

Check the samsung homepage for firmware updates, your printer might already have one which fixes the problems.

Yes thank you. Updated the firmware this morning and Airprint is working again.

Stil no new firware for my printer

Today Smsung released new firmware for my printel SL-M2070W. Every thing works fine now

Just for information the new firmware for Samsung M2022W also released on 16th October fixed the iOS 8 AirPrint problem for me.

My SCX3405w is now working after samsung firmware update released October 24
