AirPrint not working with iOS 8 (Samsung C460w)

Dear community,

since having updated my iPad mini to iOS 8 I cannot print anymore via AirPrint with my Samsung C460w printer. It always prints a page showing an URF error. Updating to iOS 8.0.2 didn't solve this issue.

The Samsung C460w is an AirPrint compatible printer. It is updated to the latest software available.

My husband uses an iPad generation 4. He hasn't updated to iOS 8 until now and he is still able to print in our network via AirPrint.

So I guess it is a problem with iOS 8.

Can anybody help us with this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the information rbii. I emailed mprint.sec yesterday and they responded with a promise for a firmware release within the next couple weeks.

Dear customer,

Thank you kindly for your prompt report.

We have investigated your problem and found some of Samsung printers have the compatibility issue with iOS8.
- You can still print with iOS7 and latest Mac OS X on Macbook before this compatibility issue with iOS8 is patched.
We have the plan to patch firmware on Samsung Printer Web site urgently.(Maybe within two weeks)
Please upgrade your printer when patch firmware is released on web site(http://www.samsung.com/Support/ProductSupport/download/index.aspx)

We apologize for your inconvenience and thank you for your understanding in advance.

Thank you
