Why is my Health Dashboard suddenly empty?

The Health Dashboard is suddenly empty on my iPhone 5s running iOS 8.0.2. What happened?

I have this problem now too. I did not have the problem in version 8.0.0 (when I first got the phone). Every morning since I updated which was... a few days ago it is blank. The first couple of times just turning off the phone and turning it back on restored it.

Today however, no go. Kind of disappointed if it is gone as I was pretty proud of myself the second day of having my new phone I did a walking tour of San Francisco and walked several miles. Loved how it kept track of the distance, steps, stairs. Kind of an opening milestone for my phone. Disappointed if that little memento from that trip is gone.

Same issue for me. iPhone 5s, iOS 8.0.2.. I noticed that my dashboard was suddenly empty.. not sure why as it was working fine up till recently.

The only thing I changed is that I started using MyFitnessPal app.. Not sure if this is related but I saw someone else mention it.

I noticed that the show on dashboard setting had been deselected for the data I was looking at.

I just re-selected 'Show on Dashboard' for steps, etc and it came back..

I have been having this issue repeatedly throughout the day. Often times a reboot does not restore the data. I did find that closing the app and just restarting the app seems to get it to work...about 50% of the time. For me, the reboot only works if I have closed the app before restart. Otherwise, it just remains empty upon restart. I also have noticed that the dashboard seems to selectively import some historical data. For instance, MyFitnessPal seems to randomly select protein intake to import - some days are skipped and other times it's in there. Just a lot of bugs to work out I suppose. ApplePay better not have this experience otherwise there's no way the public will trust it.

I have encountered this problem several times now and I have found that even though the dashboard and data section appear blank, MyFitnessPal is still collecting my data, steps etc.

In my experience, when the problem occurs, if I check Health app the following day, the dashboard is still empty but all of the data is once again available (steps, calories, etc) and the charts are working and displaying the historical info..

I just have to re-select the 'show on dashboard' for the info I want to display in my dashboard..

Hope 8.1 fixes these nagging problems with iOS 8.

Same thing here.

Dashboard is completely empty.... Happens several times a day.... Setting everything back manually is one option, but it takes long, especially if you have lots of things to be displayed on the dashboard.

Restarting the iphone works, although i've experienced more than once that i've had to restart it twice before the dashboard reappears

I hope they come up with an update soon!

Maybe it's just coincidence? But i had my iphone 5 IOS 8.0.2 and no problem at at... Last week when i got my iPhone 6 Plus... problems ever since :-(
