Unable to connect to Exchange mail after IOS 8.0.2 update

Hi,


I donwloaded and updated my iPhone 4S to IOS 8.0.2. Theafter I am unable to connect to Exchange Server and send /receive emails.


I removed the account and tried to create it again. But no luck.


Has anyone faced this?

Today i received this email that solved my issue once I followed the instructions:


" You have 10 phone profiles more than maximum allowed ( 10). Once the maximum is reached , you can not create more profiles until you delete other existing account . To do this , log on to Outlook Web App, click Options > Phone > Mobile Phones and delete profiles that do not use ."

I too am having this problem. I updated to 8.1 on my iPhone 5 when the problem started. If I reboot the phone, mail to Exchange (Office 365) will work for a while and then stop working. I have tried the suggestions of changing the amount of days to sync (currently set to three days) and still not working. I tried re-entering my password for my Office 365 on my phone and I also went in and cleared out any old entries of Phones in the Exchange settings on the web site.


It appears to be a 8.1 issue as that's when I started seeing this problem. Again, rebooting the phone makes mail work for a while, but then it will stop and only spin when getting messages. Access to my iCloud email account still works and it is only Exchange email access.


I have not seen this same behavior on my iPad. I just updated the iPad to 8.1 yesterday. Mail is still coming in on the iPad and not having this same problem. However, I did notice that on my iPad I have a message from September that I deleted long ago that will not delete. It only shows up on the iPad though.

I went through and re-entered my Exchange password on my iPhone and iPad yesterday. Rebooted both devices and since doing so yesterday afternoon, I have not had any problem with send/receive for Exchange. Thanks for the suggestion, mikael258. It appears to have resolved the problem. Even this morning, waking up, my email was coming in without any problems.

I spoke too fast. It had been working for about 24 hours and then this afternoon about just after 24 hours passed, I am back to a spinning checking email for Exchange notification on email. No problem with checking iCloud email, but Exchange is back to spinning. So weird it had been working and now doing the same spinning and not receiving or sending messages.

My Yahoo mail hasn't downloaded any new messages since Sunday. I have tried all of the suggested workarounds and all that has happened is that the account is now empty on the iPhone. I can send messages but none will download & there is just the tag at the bottom of the screen advising that the account was last updated on Sunday.

The email account is working fine in Safari.
