Will the apple Watch be water resistant, waterproof, if so, to what certified depth? Or is it for land lubbers only?

INterested in the apple Watch and its possibilities in so many directions. However, this is a piece of technology that's meant to be worn ... at any time, right? Day, night, indoors, outdoors, at sea level or on top of a mountain, above the water's surface and below it. So, I wonder if the specs will include water resistance, water proof and to what depth, or none at all and it will be a land lubbers device, until another truly globe trotting capable version is releas.
