I am trying to install boot camp for win 7 home prem 64 bits on Mac Pro laptop. The boot camp installer is hanging at the Realtek audio step. I tried other versions of boot camp, version 4.0.4326 and it complained that it did not support this system. I tried version 5.0.5033 and it complained that it did not support 64 bit. Any suggestions?

I found a solution, when the installation hangs at realtek audio:
1. DO NOT turn it off
2. go to your bootcamp folder, manually install the realtek driver, DO NOT restart
3. after manully setup, open Task Manage, and kill the "RealtekSetup" process
4. bootcamp will skip the Realte, and have fun
I had the same problem and did what a few others did and closed BC before sorting it with the above steps.
The good news is I didn't have to re-install the whole OS again.
I just installed the Realtek driver then removed it from the BC folder and ran BC again.
Rebooted and it's job done.

This was absolutely the best solution that I could clearly understand. One obviously would have to have failed at least once and then started fresh. I was using a complete version of Win10 downloaded from Microsoft onto a USB stick. The main trick is knowing to bail when the Boot Camp menu opens, finding your USB drive and then following the instructions of Sfjtfnfxgnxfg Dec 3, 2015. Once up and running, I had some startup difficulties and had to do a Windows restore, but after that, I am now up and running.

I had the same problem, but instead of searching for it, I just quit the installation.
Now I can't get it to work, I manually tried to reinstall every single driver, no luck
Anything I can do?
I already donwloaded tons of stuff, really don't want to re-install Windows again (Did it 3 times already lol)

So I installed the support drivers through bootcamp onto a usb. Then i even specifically followed all the setup instructions above for realtek. Yet my audio is STILL not working.. any idea why? :/ Thanks.
