I am trying to install boot camp for win 7 home prem 64 bits on Mac Pro laptop. The boot camp installer is hanging at the Realtek audio step. I tried other versions of boot camp, version 4.0.4326 and it complained that it did not support this system. I tried version 5.0.5033 and it complained that it did not support 64 bit. Any suggestions?

I'm having the same issue with Windows 10. Anyone found a fix for this? I tried going into the Bootcamp installer folder and install Realtek drivers manually which succeeded, but when I launch the Bootcamp installer again, it still gets stuck when installing Realtek drivers.
**** THANK YOU SO FREAKING MUCH!!! I consider myself fairly computer literate and I uninstalled audio drivers and reinstalled them and could NOT find a working solution for an entire weekend searching forums for an answer. I can hear clearly now that I followed these simple, yet precise instructions. I love you!

Ive been struggling with this for days. Having an Macbook pro 15" retina 2013 edition.
Right click on mousepad wouldnt work, got to install bootcamp but no bootcamp in system settings, no error etc. It just took hours to install the bootcamp drivers (stalling on realtek install). Apparently the whole installation of drivers were skipped...
I really expected more from apple even though its Windows on a mac...
Problem occurs for several users in september (just google the issues). And nothing has been done jet to correct it.
I had the same problem and did what a few others did and closed BC before sorting it with the above steps.
The good news is I didn't have to re-install the whole OS again.
I just installed the Realtek driver then removed it from the BC folder and ran BC again.
Rebooted and it's job done.

Many thanks. I have run into several roadblocks installing Windows 10 in El Capitan with Boot Camp. One would expect that Apple would have released a new version of Boot Camp with this fix by now.
An alternative solution would be to just delete the Realtek file.
That fixed it for me.

I couldn't kill RealtekSetup.exe process from the task manager. It keeps getting access denied. I'm Using Windows 10 with iMac late 2013 21.5inch.
