lightning data extension cable

I am looking for a lightning extension cable, does anybody know if Apple produces this. I have a VW with a MDI box so I can connect my Iphone and control the music on the radio, but the cable being sold with this solution is so short (10 cm or about 4 inches) that it can't reach my phone holder. The cable just needs to male/female with data/charge.

I have purchased longer USB to USB cables and then plug the Apple Lightning into the phone side.

Works very well.

Problem is the cable from the MDI box is a non detatchable lightning cable

Apple does not.

Make sure the cable you get has the Made for iPhone/iPod/iPad logo.
