iPhone 6 Plus headache and migraine

Been buying new iPhones every year since they have been released.. Received my new iPhone 6 plus last Friday the 19th on launch date and was super excited!

After owning the phone for a day, I started to notice that I have a really bad headache. Been using it for 12 days now and the headache has not gone away... The only difference that I can tell from this phone and my previous 5s is that this thing has NFC built into it with NO option to turn it off. I believe this is what is causing my headaches. I really love this phone but I'm obviously not going to jeopardize my health for screen size unless Apple adds a kill switch to this antenna.

A little background - I am very sensitive to Bluetooth. Any time I am around or using it, I get these headaches exactly what I am describing here. First thing I always do when I get my phones is shut off Bluetooth and everything has always been ok.

Has anyone else experienced a similar health concern?

Mr. Brewer, I'm glad that you do no have the same reaction to cell phones that some of us do. I am an electronics technician and have worked with all types of electronic devices for over 30 years including over 20 different radars, various radios, UHF links, as well as being a ham radio operator. Radio frequency energy effects are different for some, just like medication reactions are different for some. The power density of an RF field of course is controlled by the type of antenna used, but if we look at a isotropic radiator the power flows outwards from the origin in a spherical pattern and power density can be figured as Power divided by 4 pi r squared. Anyway, being brief, what that says is that the RF field power density decreases significantly as distance increases. Having a phone/radiator in your hand or near your head significantly increases your RF exposure. Belittling someone because they get a headache around cell phones just because you don't is like making fun of someone who has a hypersensitivity or allergy to a medication.

There have been extensive published studies about this so-called "hypersensitivity". Every one of the published studies demonstrates that it doesn't exist. "Victims" get symptoms when they are told there is an RF field when there isn't, and don't get symptoms when they are told there is none when there is. Electromagnetic hypersensitivity is absolute nonsense, and junk science to boot.

Which doesn't make you a doctor.

I have been experiencing the same thing for the past few months of having the iphone 6 plus. I even start to feel a radiating pain in my hands after holding the phone for too long. It's very strange and only occurs when I am in contact with the phone. Never noticed these issues with my Android. Lately, I've had the main button heat up scalding hot, as well as lots of heat from the screen and back of the phone. It's so hot that I can't even stand to hold it. I'm going to T-Mobile today to figure out what the deal is after reading the rest of the comments here.
