put your phone on vibrate when you take a pic, if you want the sound gone.
The only way to turn this off is to turn on the mute switch, however some countries do not allow for this, such as Japan. The shutter sound cannot be turned off there. There is no other setting to turn it off except to mute the device completely.
The phone is on vibrate.
I also get a noise when I plug the phone in to charge.
Ultimately, I want my phone to make zero noise, just vibrate!
The phone is muted and still the shutter sounds...
Where are you located?
U.S.
If the mute switch is on for the side of the phone, then the phone should not make a sound when you plug it in to charge, it should just vibrate, twice I believe.
.
That's because it is AGAINST THE LAW to silence it where you are.
I live in the US
Yeah I seen that as the page refreshed. On my phone the shutter sound can be silenced with the mute switch.
Is this a US phone? Meaning you purchased it in the US?
yes
If it is a US phone, then the mute switch should silence the shutter sound. What does it say in Settings>General>About>Model?
Mute switch does not silence shutter, nor does it silence my ringer. I want my phone to vibrate for everything and it's making noise. Someone please help!
