my iphone 6 randomly shuts down and restart itself

This has started happening to me also.

I got my iPhone 6 4.7 inched 64 GB few days ago (10-13-2014) . I am having the same problem as soon as I updated to 8.0.2. The phone is shutting down automatically and apps are crushing. I do also have The software is 8.0.2.

The performance also slowed down. I have reset it multiple time as describled above. Problem stayed the same.

Can I go back to IOS 8.0 somehow. It looks like ISO 8.0 was more stable.

I just bought my Iphone 6, 64 gb. And since 4 days ago, it keeps automatically restarting, it shows a blue screen and after restarts. It happens all the time in any app that a use. I counted yesterday and happened more than 10 times. Im very frustrated !!!

My iPhone 6 on IOS8.1 started restarting today for no reason. First it was in a bootloop so i performed a restore to factory setting and now it just randomly restarts.

anyone have these probs? I have a looooong list of problems Im having with my iPhone 6 iOS 8.1😠

1. Email push/fetch: not downloading email, not working and is inconsistent.

2. Poor camera quality- blurry pics taken and over saturation

3. Strange beeping tone during call. Not from another caller beeping in , i.e call waiting or buttons being pushed during call, I'm taking about a bonafide BEEPing sound during a call. I know of several other friends experiencing this as well.

4. Numerous Safari Glitches, freezing, crashes, touchscreen unresponsive to link selections.

5. Call quality severely poor and dropped calls. SERIOUSLY!?!?

6. Bluetooth connectivity unstable, both for music streaming and hands free use in vehicle. Bluetooth drops and functionality between headphones and connectivity is poor.

7. Battery Drain.

8. Text/iMessage shows as unread after being read.

9. Speak-to-text lags, glitches and hangs, especially while using bluetooth hands free in vehicle, then doesn't work. Once connected to BT the speak-to-text feature becomes unusable and requires the device to be rebooted in order to use it again.

10. Apps Crashing. LAME!

11. Intermittent device rebooting. Yep mystery rebooting, and while switching over to the other line to answer a call waiting I get the Apple Logo reboot of death, however does not actually reboot ! The screen goes black displays the Apple Logo as it were rebooting, the call drops, and whalla call dropped! YAAAY its so fun! NOT!

I have completely restored the device three times, deleted everything, reset all settings multiple times, deleted email accounts, and followed all the fixes Apple indicates should fix your device with no success. What should I do? Can I take the phone back? Thank you!

i am having same issues with i phone 6. it usually happens when the phone is on charge and when the phone comes under sunlight. if the phone is put under sunlight for even 5 minutes the phone shuts down automatically.

ive had my iPhone for a week. It is doing the same. I cant even reliably use it because it cuts off every minute or so. all software is up to date and ive went through all the troubleshooting steps.

just update to ios 8.1.3, that solved the same problem with me

I just bought my Iphone 6 like a month ago and it started automatically restarting 7 days ago aprox, it showed a blue screen after restarting but today it shutted down and I couldn´t manage to make it start. So I clicked the start button and also the button for blocking the iphone and it restarted but now the screen turns red after the apple shows and it shuts down again. Anyone with this problem?

THe same happened to me with my iphone 5s, sometimes it stopped for some weeks but then again it restarted itself. I decided to buy an iphone 6plus i have used it only for a month and it is restarting! now im thinking it may be my apple id account I cant believe this happened with my two brand new iphones! Somebody help please

I have the same problem too, I updated IOS to the latest version 8.2 and all Apps are up-to-date and the iPhone still reboot itself "black screen with the apple in the middle" ,

I've seen here many iPhone users are having the same problem and Apple support didn't bother to resolve this issue,,,

Having the exact same issue as thelegend411 but can't be sure it started since my 8.2 update. Only started seeing the restarts over the past few days but have been on 8.2 longer than this. Have seen it probably 3-4 times now. Sometimes when starting an application, sometimes when not.
