Same issue. iPhone 6, fully updated to iOS 8.3. Often it reboots without me seeing it happen but you'll know it rebooted when it says "Password required after restarting" or some such when you go to unlock your phone.

One time I caught it right as it happened and the whole screen went blue and then it restarted.

Apple used to have superior products that were more stable than the competition. I hope they come out with a fix for this soon.

Hi,

I own 2 iPhone 6 + 16 GB running iOS 8.4, even before the last update I seemed to have some issues with them :

1. if i open YouTube on data service and i pass to my home/work WiFi the iPhone will restart. i have experienced this on the new OS a well.

2. if the iPhone is plugged in and i unplug it it will show me (ex: 16%) and if i lock is and open it (without being plugged) it will show me 30% or another percentage.

I have tried to restore them to factory settings and to start all over again without installing the back up, after a few days I experienced the same issue.

PS: both phones have shock proof cases and tempered glass is installed on them.

Update on randomly iPhone 6/6s shutting down: Apple seems to be aware of this issue and is currently in the process of releasing a new update. Other solutions to attempt fix, 1.let battery drain completely, then charge to 100%. 2. Plug in your iPhone to your computer (laptop, etc.,), launch "iTunes", RESET your iPhone to factory settings (NOTE: IMPORTANT!! Prior to resetting, do a "backup" of your entire phone). 3. Now, after completion, do a "restore" of back from iCloud, hope this works.
