I really want to be out of Sprint so badly that I am willing to wait. They put me into this awesome data plan at the store, so if I have to wait a few more weeks it's not the end of the world.

I just don't like being jerked around. I feel that the guy at the store really thought the phones would ship by my original date of 10/31. I think Verizon, on the other hand, just keeps throwing out numbers then turning around blaming Apple.

That being said, offering me $10 for my inconvenience is ridiculous. Just don't offer me anything at all. $10 is a **** in the wind.

jdcthunder I hear what your saying. I don't like the jerking around either. I am very disappointed with Apple, and I haven't been with Apple that long. This will be my 2nd iPhone whenever I get it. I think it's sad how they are treating customer who are loyal to them. It's a shame!😠😕😟😮

And how is it Apple's fault that Verizon is delaying or not fulfilling your order?

Apple doesn't control how many orders Verizon takes. All Apple does is provide the units to Verizon, in the agreed upon timeframe. So far, I've seen no reports that Apple has failed to meet the quotas they've agreed to with the wireless carriers. What is happening is the wireless carriers are overselling the orders. When they should be saying 'Out of Stock, come back later', they are instead choosing to take your order and how you won't cancel.

If Manufacturer A says to Retailer B, "We will provide you 1000 units on October 15th,", but then Retailer B accepts 2000 orders, whose fault is that?

Tjbusmc193,

Thank you for the information. I was up set with Apple because Verizon told me that Apple only sent them limited amount of phones. I am okay now because my phone will be arriving soon. Again, thanks for the information! Happy Thanksgiving to you!🙂

Of course Apple only went them a 'limited number of iPhones'. What's the alternative; an unlimited number of iPhones?

Ask Verizon, point blank, if Apple has failed to deliver to them the number of phones that Apple agreed upon. The honest answer will be, 'No'.

Apple has not fallen behind in provided units to the wireless carriers. This is a case where Verizon is passing the buck and blaming someone else.

So my Verizon horror story gets weirder and weirder. I spoke to someone today who tells me that my original order was never going to ship. It was messed up in the system and I needed to place a whole new order. That included me now ordering 64 gb phones instead of the 128s. Fine, I can manage. But what really angered me was that the 30 gb data plan for 130 wasn't made available to me. Instead, I had to take a 15 gb plan for 100. While I think even if I tried, reaching 30 gb per month would be difficult, but I want the darn plan I signed up for to begin with, and not some different plan. They assured me that when I activate the phones (that are supposed to be arriving on Friday 12/6), that they will go to the "plan retention department" and try to get me back the original plan I signed up for. I am not sure I even buy it at this point. But I am so sick and tired of Sprint not working that I need to switch. I just hate feeling like I've lost. And that is how I am feeling at the moment. By the way, I spent almost 4 hours on the phone today with Verizon.
