iPhone 6 Plus Verizon shipping/delivery

Has anybody that ordered their iPhone 6 Plus through Verizon actually gotten their phone yet? or even got a shipping confirmation email and tracking number? i pre ordered my 6 Plus 64gb Space grey on 9/17 and have a ship date of 10/31, my status on verizon still says order is in process.

Unfortunately I agree with you! Apparently the problem is primarily with the iPhone6+ and those with the 64G and 128G memory. Apple marketeers underestimated the popularity of the 6+ and thought that the size would encourage the IPhone 6 to be the phone of choice. Obviously they stock their own shelves first but it appears that orders placed directly with Apple and those with carriers have about the same delivery dates. If you are fortunate enough to have an Apple store nearby and they have your phone in stock you can cancel your order and buy it at the store but of course most shipments seem to be scheduled 10/29 or before with some falling into 11/4 or before.


I am no worse off than before....they haven't debited my credit card for payment and won't do so until they ship my unit but I have to continue to use my phone that I have successfully been using for the past two years. I feel for those who did not have cell phone service and signed up for service and bought the iPhone6. I guess the carrier will not charge them for service until they activate the phone once it is received.

ACcording to Verizon, after repeated calls, they did not receive the phones they were supposed to from Apple and almost all 10/24 ship dates have been pushed to either 111/07 or 11/14. As usual with Verizon getting any I formation from them is almost impossible! Check immediately when they answer and identify themselves what call center they are from, they have to tell you, Do Not deal with Tenn, try to get Arizona, they seem to be the best. I ordered 2 64g gold 6 phones at a Verizon store 10/13. We picked gold only because they would ship first. Now Since we have to wait as long I wish we had ordered what we really wanted. And I finally got them to admit that their website for order tracking is completely screwed up and does not give correct, if any information. Do not rely on what the website shows! Call if you really want to know and make them check your order specifically and not just rely on their stated ship dates. Am getting VERY frustrated with Verizon and their finger pointing.

I Just called Verizon. I ordered on 9/21 6+ 64GB. I thought maybe if I canceled my order and ordered a different model I could beat all this and get it now. She told me unless I was stupid, to leave my order alone and it will ship when it ships lol. She said Verizon did not get their shipment on Friday and everything has been pushed into November (my ship said is Friday) she said my phone would NOT ship Friday. SShe she said all models are back ordered. She said if I cancel now I'd be looking at December or next year. Not what I wanted to hear, but at least she was honest with me! I'll just tight

UPDATE!!!!!! Hello again everyone. I had recently ordered my Verizon iPhone 6 plus 64gb Space Gray on 10/26/14 with ship date in 11/21/14. I just happened to check for availabity on my local Apple Store through Apple App Store when I noticed it said it was available for pick up If I purchased the iPhone through the Apple App Store. So I quickly cancelled my order pending delivery through Verizon and reseted my availabilty Edge upgrade so I can order it through Apple for pick up. Everything went through OK and Apple had it ready for me when I got there. I was not about to wait about a month for delivery through Verizon. Apple must-of got a small shipment that came in today or so. I'm loving my new iPhone 6 Plus. People, go check your local Apple Store for availability before they sell out again! Wish you all the best!!!!!

I ordered my Gold+ 128gb on 10/07 from a corporate Verizon store. On Saturday the 25th I noticed my order date changed to 10/25. I kept monitoring my bank account and my order status. When I checked yesterday and nothing still had happened, I contacted Verizon. The lady stated that a hold was placed on the order, she gave me a number to call and the commands to bypass the automated system. When I got to speak with someone the guy said there was no credit card # on file. How could that be, when the guy at store swiped my card? Anyways, I resubmitted my card # and my ship date remains the same and he ensured me that I would have an email in the next couple days with a tracking number. Anxious to see. My order was processing yesterday and today it doesn't say anything, but the payment has been processed. Here's to hoping it gets shipped today.

I ordered my iPhone 6 plus silver (64g) on 10/16. My shipping date was 11/7 from the very beginning. Didnt get any updates, which was annoying, but my iPhone was shipped on the 7th like they promised. My credit card was charged the night before, and I had a tracking number the following day in the afternoon. It was extremely annoying waiting for my phone for a month. I'm very disappointed in the poor service Apple has provided to all of us. Regardless, happy I'm finally getting my phone.

I ordered mine on October 15th and received a ship by date of Nov 15th. I received an email about a week or so before my ship date "Thinks to know about your new Verizon phone". This email included a new way to check my status, which was not updated. 4 days later I received a shipping notice and my phone arrived on Nov 12th. I ordered an iPhone 6+ 64GB Space Gray. I document my whole experience on this forum with screen shots if you want to read more about it and see the emails.


For them to push it out twice would concern me a bit but shipments do seem to come in waves. Hang in there, its certainly well worth it.

I too now have a tracking number for mine. It's due to arrive on Friday 🙂


The trick with my order was that it had no email attached to it. This meant I didn't get any email alerts, which was more frustrating than the shipping date itself changing. I found this out because I got a text from 'Brian' at the Verizon store in Chicago. He was innocently asking whether my recent visit there had been satisfactory. Once I told him about this order he quickly found out what was wrong, and was also able to tell me my tracking number.


So, a fantastic result all around.

I ordered a 6plus silver 64gb on 9/13, day after preorders began and got an estimated ship date of10/28 at the time. I had iniated my order over the phone directly through verizonwireless on the day preorders began but because I was upgrading from a prepaid flip phone, I had to finalize my order on 9/13.


I have continually checked the shipping date and it was moved up to 10/24 on their verizonwireless page. I called verizonwireless directly a few days ago and they said that shipments will begin on 10/16 for preorders, but it sounded like it was a pre-selected batch of orders with no information on which orders from which dates were in that batch. There are no guarantees on this. The reality is that there are more people who have ordered the phones than there are already manufactured phones to ship. They cannot specify an exact date of shipment because they ship phones to the world at this point and keeping up with the demand is a monumental feat. I can be objective and believe it will ship when it can but the subjective side of me wants my **** phone already. Next time (if there is one) I will just stand in line for one. This is my first iphone and this long delay in delivery is already leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

A positive outcome for me, and maybe some hope for folks who are fighting the verizon on-line order tracking system.


Ordered the 64 gig grey plus on 9/22. Original ship date was 11/7. Last Saturday (25th) the order started processing, but that's when things went haywire.


I got an e-mail Sunday saying that my credit card didn't process and I needed to call. I talked to a Verizon store on Sunday (the business user call center is only open M-F). They couldn't find my order any more.


The on-line Verizon website showed the order as cancelled.


I called Monday, spoke to the business center. They said the order wasn't cancelled and would figure things out and call me back.


They didn't call back. Today - my order is still showing cancelled on-line.


I called this morning, expecting the worst, but the automated system said 'it looks like you're calling about your order - it's been shipped and arrives today - here's the tracking #'.


I hung up and tracked it. Sure enough - it was on it's way, and it was delivered 30 mins ago.


My order still shows as cancelled in Verizon system and the last 4 of the credit card showing are wrong.


No idea what's going on - but I'd just say - take anything you read in the on-line system with a large rock of salt. It looks like it's not accurate reflection of reality...


And my phone got here 10 days earlier than the expected ship date. Woo hoo !!!
