OK - to recap my experience: On October 15 I order from the Verizon Wireless website under my account, an iPhone 6+, 64 GB, Space Grey. The expected ship by date was (and still is) November 14. I received an email confirmation that had my order details, confirmed ship by date and my order number. The email also had a link to check my status. I checked that status constantly and to this day it say "Your order is processing. Your shipping details will be available soon." It also has my order date, order number and Tracking number which is blank.
I logged into my Verizon Wireless account and it shows that have no orders that have shipped in the past 30/90 days and not orders placed in the past 150 days. At first I was concerned about this but other Verizon customers have said the same thing, so I let it be. I never called Verizon because from everything I've read the support team there has no idea what's going on and honestly they are at the mercy of Apple and when Apple decides to ship retailers/providers inventory. It's no secrete that Apple is shipping to Apple stores first, but rest assured that Apple wants to hit it's 3rd quarter and End of Year numbers and shipping to mobile providers is a huge part of that, especially because, at least Verizon, they don't charge for the order until it's shipped. Also, I've tried but finding a 6+ in an Apple store is almost impossible - some have been able to get one but many people are trying this option and often they don't get the color they want. I'm going to have this phone for 2+ years and payed and arm, leg and a couple fingers to get it so I want the color I want.
So today I received and email from Verizon titled "Things to know about your new Verizon phone." In this email it has direction on how to check my order status and sends me to a login type page that I insert the order number (which is now different than what was in the first email) and my last name. So, 3 weeks later I think they confirmed that they actually did receive my order and apparently it's still scheduled to ship by 11/14 - not really sure because this new page basically says the same as the old one. Having said that - when I click the link on that page that says "Review your order History in My Verizon" it still shows no orders....
