iPhone 6 Plus Verizon shipping/delivery

Has anybody that ordered their iPhone 6 Plus through Verizon actually gotten their phone yet? or even got a shipping confirmation email and tracking number? i pre ordered my 6 Plus 64gb Space grey on 9/17 and have a ship date of 10/31, my status on verizon still says order is in process.

I considered pre-ordering on 9/12, but the ship date available was 10/28, so I decided to wait in line on 9/19. I got there at 3:00 AM & was #14 in line. I was in the first group to be let into store, & they didn't have ANY 6+ 128GB. They only had 12 6+ total, all less GB. Frustrated, I ordered my 128GB Gray 6+ with an expected ship date of 10/31. Verizon has advised me that it may be sooner than that, but there is no info to date.

I have had the same issue. Ordered iPhone 6 Plus 64 GB Gold and was given an estimated ship date of 10/31/14. I was sent a confirmation email but when I check the status it just says processing. Ordered on 9/19/14. I am just as frustrated with Apple and their dispersal policy. I don't live near an Apple store and I had to take advantage of a special in order to upgrade so even if I did live close to one I would have had to still get it through the carrier. I think is is completely idiotic that there are growing wait times and yet they are launching it more countries, countries they know will have high demand. So now I have been waiting almost a month and someone who just ordered will get their phone before I will. Its sad how badly this whole iPhone/iOS rollout has gone. I didn't think Apple was a company that would make such egregious errors in estimating demand, supplying, and releasing a stable OS. I have been a long time Apple devotee but I am seriously considering canceling my order and switching back to Android until Apple can get their act together.

I ordered mine 10/06/14 and my order is still saying "being processed" UGH and its being "delivered before 11/14/14" I'm getting annoyed....so annoyed I'm about to just get the Note 4. I switched from sprint to Verizon and I'm using the iPhone5 and I'm about to flip from the sh*tty battery. I ordered the 6+ in gray 16gb. If the phone is sold out this fast when the 7comes out I'm not even going to bother with apple. They're smart enough to make a working phone, but not smart enough to predict the amount of products they need? No. Its just a gimmick. They do it every year.

My husband ordered his iPhone 6 Plus (silver/64gb) as an upgrade to his Verizon Edge contract on 9/12/14 and I pre-ordered the same on 9/14/14 (no upgrade paying outright). We had the same ship dates but he received his on 10/7 and I am so out here waiting with an anticipated ship date of 10/24 that just barely updated with an order number this afternoon...fingers crossed it is on its way!

I am new to the iPhone world and was excited to purchase my first iPhone 6 plus. I ordered my iPhone 6 Plus/Gold/16GB on 9/21 at a nearby Verizon store and was told of a shipping date of 10/24. I just received an update this past Friday, 10/17 stating that my iPhone is on target for shipping on the date 10/24. I am excited to have this new phone, and twiddling my thumbs like crazy because I am ready to see what I have. I do, however, hope that Apple look at the heightened demand for these phones on this go round, and reevaluate the demand before launching just so everyone can have their phone within a timely manner. I am sure they weren't expecting such a demand as this and envisioned to have everything under control, however, China has pre-ordered their phones this past Friday, 10/17 and other countries are scheduled later in the month. All in all, we all have to wait for this new gadget and we are excited. I just disagree with the time of waiting as I will not see mine for another week if the ship date is on 10/24.

I'm with you on this subject. I keep checking the Verizon site and of course like many others there is no updated shipping information. I am comptemplating cancelling my pre-orders for this phone since we cannot get updated information and just going to the Verizon store and picking up a new phone. There is another phone that just came out and is available today so it would be easy and fast to upgrade. It sure beats setting around waiting on information that doesn't seem to be coming.

Still checking everyday and mine has not budged. I don't understand why these folks that ordered after us that preordered are getting early shipments? I thought preorder held our line in some sort of que? I guess this is a lie. I learned my lesson this time and will never try this again. I will wait in line cause this has been total BS! I cannot believe waiting 2 months for a phone is acceptable. Especially when they have already taken my money and I signed a contract. Doesn't the law state once goods or services are paid for you should have them in hand? Shame on Apple and shame on Verizon lastly shame on me!

Honestly - I don't know why people are getting so upset. When we bought the phone - we could see what the estimated ship date was. Sure - would we like it sooner - absolutely. But it's not like we were told we were getting it the next day, and then later told it was going to be 6 weeks. So nothing has changed.


You have a choice - cancel your order and get something else. But that immediate gratification may end up with feelings of regret when you see what you could have had by just being a little more patient. But that's your choice. I just don't understand why people are complaining when we weren't mislead.


For those who are receiving them earlier - what model of the plus, and what was your original estimated ship date ? thanks

I wonder if it has anything to do with how you pay for the phone. I did my upgrade via the EDGE program, and I ordered my phone (see previous post - 64GB space gray 6+) on September 18. There's no card to charge when it ships; it just gets added to my monthly bill. The estimated ship date is 10/24. When I log into the Verizon website, all I see is the order date/number and "You have no orders that shipped in the past 21 days." Here's hoping that changes tomorrow, which is supposed to be my shipping date.
