I have been in processing limbo for what seems like forever....tonight it just changed to preparing for shipment! It's a start!!!

Have been following this thread since I ordered. Thought of putting some update on my order status.

So I bought this phone for my girlfriend, but she has no idea. She has been wanting a 6 plus ever since it came out, but couldn't get one because her current contract ends next year. She will be so happy once I get it to her. Can't wait🙂 to see her happy!!!

Folks, who are still waiting for 6 plus, hang in there. So far what I have heard from the people in this thread, the order goes to preparing for shipment status within 20 to 25 days. It ships within 24 hours after it goes to preparing for shipment status. Good Luck Everyone!!!

Just received this email from Apple, seems to be on par with what everyone is getting that ordered their 6 + between Oct 1 - 6.

I ordered mine through Apple.com on Oct 6, 6 + space grey, 128gb AT&T. My delivery window is Oct 31 - Nov 7, so it sounds like I may get it earlier. Good luck everyone!

And I'm excited. Total number of days waited will be 32. That's a really long time. This was Apple's slowest roll out but hopefully it will all be worth it when I get that large picture less white box on Wednesday. Has anyone ever pre-signed? Is it a good idea? I have Kim K's face of excitement!!! Anticipation!!!!

After reading the postings here, I am learning to be patient. I have owned every iPhone since 2007. I want to share my case.

Original order from Apple online store, 64 GB, Space Gray, AT&T on September 21. Then I got this email from Apple.

Apparently, using a debit card is a no-no. I contacted my Credit Union and they have holds on payments from wherever the request was coming from. Even though they promised to pay, it expires after 7 days. After many other problems I decided to cancel the order and just try the local Apple Stores. The iPhone 6 Plus is never in their shipments and so after several tries I went back to square one and placed another order online, on October 20th!! This time with a bank credit card!. Funny it had a pending transaction from Apple for "$7.18" - probably a place holder. I am learning to be patient:

I can't wait till I get my iPhone 6 plus - during Thanksgiving week when I might be home to take delivery. Anybody else had a probably with paying with a debit card?

When I log in to my AT&T account and click on order status this comes up, but when I use the order # on att.com/wirelessorderstatus It still just says preparing to ship with the expected date of 11/9 - 11/27. I ordered the silver 64g Iphone 6 plus on September 16th. Did one of the 12 people who've received their phones have any problems similar to this? Just curious...

I am really excited, my order went preparing to ship on 10/28 and today as most of you had said (about 24 hours later) it went to shipped status. The UPS tracking says it's now in ZhengZhou, China and I presume the route is Korea next then US. At this point, it feels better to have a tracking number and to know they have shipped my order rather than having it had sat there in processing status for three weeks. At the end of the day it's just a phone. I'm still glad to get my hands on the new handset because my 5 is having trouble with the battery. Reason why I went with the plus. I hope everybody gets their phone soon. I agree with most that Apple could handle things differently but what can you do... I never run to the store to make a line when they first come out, look at the reviews and then proceed to order it online then waited for my order. Best of luck to everybody! I hear it's a great phone!

Last week I got the "working hard" email from Apple, indicating shipping Oct 27-Nov 3

Oct 28: Status changed from "Processing" to "Preparing to Ship" and my CC was charged.

Oct 29: Status changed to "Shipped" - Expected delivery Nov 4

UPS tracking says Oct 31 (but it hasn't left China yet, or even been pickup by UPS yet, and given the delays folks are experincing in Korea I have doubts about Oct 31)

Phone will be in my hands today! 😀

10/15 received email from apple saying phone will shipped between 10/20-10/27

10/22 Credit card charged & order changed to preparing for shipment & 9 hours later it shipped.

Just wanted to share some happy news. Ordered from AT&T October 5th, iPhone 6plus 16GB. My original shipping date is 11/12- 11/21. This morning of October 30, I received an email that my phone was shipped. It's either they had a big shipment from China or have some stock at their warehouse in Maryland as my phone was shipped from there via USPS.

Today might be your lucky day too!

When I received my tracking info the original date of Delivery was October 30 (today) up until yesterday morning it was switched to Nov 3. Yesterday evening it went back to Oct. 30 which got me all excited but this morning when I checked the status it stated that it will be delayed by one business day due to a late flight. If I am in Canada where does it go from Louisville?? I really don't want to have to wait over the weekend so hopefully I can get a delivery tomorrow. But my luck does not seem to be on my side.
