iPhone 6 Plus October Orders!

So, I received a shipping notification that my ATT, 128gb, Space Grey iPhone 6+ had shipped Oct 30 with a delivery date of Nov 4 (I ordered on Oct 6). I paid for 2-3 business day shipping which would actually make my phone arrive on Monday the 3rd. My shipping status went from "In Transit" to "Rescheduled Delivery" when I went to look at the shipping, which is either good news or bad news. Does this mean maybe they're expediting my shipping for the 2-3 day delivery time? Or is it getting delayed? Anyone that has their phone now and had this happen during the time their phone was shipped or if you have seen this recently in your shipping details -- can you shed some light? Thanks!

Not thinking mine is going to be leaving today. Which is fine, but just thought it was odd that our tracking is so similar but mine hasn't changed since it got to Shanghai Tuesday.

Lumpypuddin, The departure scan is no longer on my tracking info, and it's back to what it was earlier this morning. What does this mean, UPS, did my package leave Shanghai or not? Has anyone seen this happen?

Wow so who knows what to expect at this point. @shadowfax31pearson I don't understand how your status could go backwards like that though. That has to be a glitch in the system. Imagine that huh!? Lol

I got this from a chat with UPS:

Due to special Apple operating plans, scheduled delivery dates fluctuate on U.S.

imports. The date may continue to update until the package enters the U.S.

through our KY facility. Once packages are imported into the US and it leaves

the KY facility, the scheduled delivery date should no longer fluctuate. As

soon as we have more information about the delivery it will post to the web

site. you may use the "request status updates" link on the tracking

page to receive information as it becomes available.

@Smorgan0000....did you get delivery notice for your phone?

I got this from ups. Don't know what it means. Yesterday it said delivery for Oct. 31 and now it is unavailable. I knew luck would not be on my side. 😟

I ordered in the AT&T Store, but as far as I know it's the same as ordering online. My shipment is moving quick too, I am in Kentucky so it's really close lol

I finally got one!!! Went to an Apple store, stood in line for about 30 minutes and picked up a 128GB space grey from the Apple Store. Used the 30 minutes to call into Sprint to cancel my order and reset my eligibility for my upgrade, Apple reserved the phone for me while I was inline and in store talking to Sprint so I knew I had one. Once it showed canceled in Apple's system they sold me my upgrade 6+. Apple actually does it pretty well in store. Ill never buy from the carrier again. So stoked I am not at the mercy of the shipping gods any longer. Happy Halloween everyone. I would hawk www.idevicechecker.com find one near you and cancel your order if you can. Just wanted to post an update. My phone shipped last week on Thursday the 29th, I'm scheduled to receive it tomorrow Mon the 3rd by the end of day (2-3 business day shipping). My original delivery date was on Tues the 4th, and at one point my shipping changed to "re-scheduling delivery date" and I took this as a bad sign, but once the status kicked back in it showed they expedited my shipping by one day to match the 2-3 business day shipping I paid for. So for those of you that may have received the re-scheduling shipping notification, it's not always a bad thing.

I'll post some photos when I receive my phone tomorrow.

@Skott79, Congrats on getting your phone, the wait is almost over for you. I'm curious if your arrival scan in Louisville showed up over the weekend, or if this just all appeared last night? My status hasn't updated since Friday night when it left Anchorage, and I still don't have a delivery date. Originally the delivery date was Oct 31, then it rescheduled... then it changed to this on Friday night and hasn't updated since. I also paid for the 2-3 day shipping and ours travelled together out of Shanghai.

Nope. Don't believe your eyes! This is a cardboard mock-up I made to research the size and feel of the Plus. I created this before they finally began shipping. Since my real one seems to never be shipped, I guess I'll play with my make believe one! Lol.

Welp, received my iPhone 6+ today! It's big and beautiful -- how I like my women and phone! Good luck to everyone, it's worth the wait for sure.

By the way, I got the super minimalist case "Air Jacket" made by Power Support as well as the Crystal Film screen protector. I highly recommend them if you want your phone to look like it's not in a case. powersupportintl dot com

The eagle has landed! My phone arrived at my office at 10:00 am eastern and I got it activated and restored from backup while working.. rather than watching. 🙂 Wifi, Bluetooth, display, keyboard... so far so good. Fast!

Here's a pic of the 2nd case that I ordered. It is a hard rubberized 3 piece case that is heavy duty just for the gym!

And here's the 1st case I ordered and received a couple of weeks ago from eBay for $1.99 flat! It is a nice slim clear matte/tpu case. It will be my daily driver for everyday use!
