iPhone 6 Plus October Orders!

Counting down til delivery day tomorrow! Ordered online from Apple on 10/29, got the shipping email with tracking details on 11/10, and been following my 6+ 64gb Gold AT+T as it slowly makes it way to my eager hands! I'm sure my phone had a few travelling buddies, even with layover in Louisville, KY, so I know I won't be the only one waiting for the sight/sound of the approaching UPS truck! Here's my tracking details for those who might be interested in comparing notes....

OK! I finalily got the much awaited Shipped status and email!!!!!!

Now for the kicker: as you can see below Apple's notification states "Standrad Shipping" while the tracking number is from UPS! Which one is it then? Lol I didn't pay for expedited. Lol

Hopefully, this thread will close out with everyone getting their devices soon...you won't be disappointed! I'm having a ball trying different cases for it! @ap_kush And everyone interested in getting an idea on the shipping from Apple. Below is a of where I stand as of today. Keep in mind that the weekend hit just at the beginning this creating a slight delay. My toy is set to arrive this Friday. Though I want it tomorrow! Lol

OMG!!!!!!! When I clicked on my tracking tab on my order page, even though the email said my delivery would be 12/3 with expedited shipping 2-3 Business Days, now the UPS info shows delivery of Friday, 11/28. This I've got to see. It showed arriving in China and departing all today. In all threads on here, I've never seen any phone move that fast. We'll see, but I'm just thrilled about the possibility. 🙂 Defiantmacho, then we'd be getting our phones on the same day. 🙂 Since I'm off til Monday, now I'm thinking I better run into work and pick up my case and screen protector. I'll wait til later on today, though, just to see if it is really moving that fast. 🙂

I knew it was too good to be true. Now a delayed flight to get to Korea. Can't see how it will get here by tomorrow. They haven't changed the delivery time yet, but I questioned how it could possibly get here by tomorrow without the delay. Now I just can't imagine. 😟

So it did actually move today. Left Anchorage at 2:26 PM, I think headed to Louisville, KY if it is following the same route my son's did a month and a half ago. But then it has to go to St. Louis so again, not sure all this can happen by tomorrow. On the UPS Flight Status Link: http://flightaware.com/live/fleet/UPS, It looks like most of the flights are going to Louisville from Anchorage and arrive late evening or early morning. We'll see what happens after it lands. 🙂 Still keeping my fingers crossed, but worried this might not happen now until Monday. 😟

You know, being here and sharing this experience for so long makes you wonder about the people you are sharing the experience with. Actually, curious in general.

That's crazy they wouldn't let you do that. I had my local UPS Facility hold my son's phone a month and a half ago so I could pick it up instead of it going on the truck for delivery. That's weird they wouldn't do that.

I got a scare during the night with my phone. lol Just had to click on refresh when I was letting the dog out just to see if it updated after leaving Louisville. What a let down. It was showing departing Louisville at 4:19 A.M. but they had changed the delivery date to Monday. 😟 I was so bummed. 😟 But. . . . . . then I checked again when I got up and it had made it all the way to Rolla, which is where the delivery truck goes out of. I immediately called the facility and asked if it really was there since earlier in the morning the date had changed to Monday. He checked and said it was being unloaded from the truck and should be on the delivery truck, but I would see it for sure a half hour later when everything was unloaded and sure enough, see below. . . . It is out for delivery now. 🙂 I'm going to let it be delivered today instead of going up to get it because that's 30 miles away and I have a repairman coming this morning so as long as I know it's coming, I'm fine. 🙂 WHEW!!!!! Got worried there for a brief moment. lol

Sorry for the lack of update. I came home late last night and today is my birthday!! So I'm not going to be updating much today. My phone just left Korea! I'm so sad that it was stuck there since yesterday 😟 but at least it's on the move on. I'll keep you guys updated later tonight or tomorrow! I got plans 🙂

Here's another update from me. I'm the only one that hasn't received my phone yet while everyone else's is playing with theirs lol. As of last night, my phone left Alaska and I don't know where it's going. I'm hoping I get an update later today. I hope it'll be in Seattle tomorrow!
