Fay: I would feel better talking to a supervisor at Verizon to make sure you're getting the right information. Just call them and ask for a supervisor and see what they tell you. If it still sounds like the same thing, then just sell it as a VErizon phone. I sold my first two iphones as AT&T phones and intended on selling my 5 that way too. I didn't know how to unlock the phone until this buyer asked me to unlock it after they bought it. You will still be able to sell it for a good price.

Fay: I wouldn't go through someone else besides the carrier to unlock the phone. Who knows what will happen to it and you won't know it and end up selling it to someone. Okay! Thanks again! I will let you know how the sell went once I have sold it. This will be my first time selling anything especially on eBay.🙂 My neighbors has sold things on eBay, so I am going to have them assist me. You mentioned about taking pictures of everything, and I will do that for sure. In fact, I am going to make a video packing the phone and accessories for shipment too.

Just now getting email that the shipping on my three iPhone pluses I ordered on 10/23 has been changed to 12/12. Anyone know how accurate this email might be? That's next Friday. Was original scheduled for 11/14/14

Check out your phone as soon as you get it to make sure that you don't have any problems before the return period expires. I may have to take my phone to the store to find out why my music list disappeared while in iTunes when I hooked my phone up to my computer. I was having problems when I would talk on the speaker and I had to call Verizon to help me that. Then I had to call them to help me with my caller ID when people from my contact would call me, but their names were not showing up on the screen only the word unknown.

So Fay, when you got your new phone, had you done a backup of your old iphone and then connected your new phone to itunes to retrieve that backup? And did it load everything on your new phone then from the backup: music, pictures, contacts, etc.?

Yes, I did everything you mentioned. I went online and Google the problem and there is a lot of people are having the same problem.. I read to fix it I have to go into settings and delet my music.

I'm really sorry I've been quiet! I'm just really loving my phone and also cause finals is coming out. So far, I haven't had problems with my phone. I love how I don't have to charge it everyday either. I can't wait to use this for my trip in a couple weeks 🙂

A Senior rep at APPLE told me they did received some possessed devices like mine was. Lol. He did tell me carriers have a supply as backup fir that very same reason. My local AT&T service place did indeed have backup supplies. Just good FYI in case you run into trouble.

defiantmacho, that's great. I'm glad they would do that for you at a retailer instead of needing to exchange it with Apple and that they had the exact phone. 🙂 PROBLEM SOLVED!!! 🙂

Can you crop pics taken on the iphone while still on the iphone or do you have to do it on a computer?

You have a Senior Advisor that you can call for that one particular issue. Any new & different issues, and you should use the normal technical support from Apple.

Unless you have an Executive account (or whatever the terminology is), you don't get a personal Apple rep.

defiantmacho, ok, I did everything you said about cropping, but didn't see a way to save. It just changed my original pic. Is there a way to save as a second pic and not permanently change the original pic?

Fay, glad all your problems are resolved and now you have a direct contact to an Apple rep. That's nice. 🙂 So far, I'm not noticing anything too weird with my phone. Just little things here and there, but might not be the phone.

Yes, my Apple Rep. helped me a lot, and it wasn't the phone it was me. LOL!!! So now if I can't figure things out, I just google it online, and that's been working out great. I have been spending most of the day assigning ringtones to my contacts. I only wish Apple made downloading ringtones without having to download a ringtone maker first. But I was able to figure it out. It's just time consuming. Other than that, things are good. Did you get your picture figured out yet?

EEeerrrrr I see what you mean. Lol. You can undo any changes. It's weird that allows you to copy a photo bit not duplicate it, or save it as a new photo.

opening a photo an doing a screen capture of it might do it.
