iPhone 6 Plus October Orders!

Apparently my phone would have shipped last night, but the credit card information ATT had wasn't correct. Therefore my order was cancelled. I swiped the credit card at a store. It had since been changed due to the whole Home Depot security issues. I never noticed they hadn't already charged it. I called Customer service, was on hold for 1.5 hours. I was assured my new order would be preferred, and the phone would be one of the next to ship. We will see. This roll out will be used for a decade by the better business schools in the country as a "how not" example.

My phone has arrived!! I am currently restoring from my backup, and then it's bye bye old 4S!!! Total shipping time was only 2 days. I received notification on the 16th and received the phone today.

This horrendous roll out has finally closed for me, but I feel for the rest of you that are still waiting. It ***** for sure, but let's hope these phones prove worth the wait (unsure that they will).

Two months to finally ship this product! My money is on Apple doing a tooling change mid-stream on the iPhone 6 Plus to resolve a "manufacturing defect", potentially linked to the structural integrity issues of the larger model. All speculation, of course... Maybe the 128GB NAND was in short supply? Regardless, this was the most ridiculous Apple product launch so far. I think I might wait 6 months after the next major iPhone version before even thinking about upgrading.

I'm surprised how popular the iPhone 6 Plus128GB SG turned out to be! I requested it under the specific assumption that, with it being the most boring color and highest spec'ed sku, it would draw the fewest customers. Was I wrong...

Derick, the exact same thing happened to me. Two months of waiting then suddenly it got canceled. I talked to a representative and they helped me realize that I never filled out a Terms and Conditions (something like that) form. I accidentally removed the upgrade thinking the whole deal was done. Now I must restart from the beginning or settle. I'm still quenching 128 GB so I think I will wait. Wish you the best of luck.

Great! Mine arrived yesterday, Thursday, December 18, 2014 and I have been having a great time restoring and learning the features that are so much better than my 3GS. I really feel like I will enjoy this phone. I purchased a [pro]master extension pole for use with the camera, much like the extension poles I have for my GoPro's. I also am excited to see how well it works with my drone.

Best of luck to everyone patiently waiting for their phones. It was an anxious wait but looks like it will be worth the wait.

They just charged my card.....the new one, so I'm guessing It'll ship soon. Its frustrating, this whole process, but I knew it would take at least 3 weeks to ship when I bought it. Good luck with your shipping window. I talked to ATT and they were helpful.

derickfromin, got my phone, but still see the emails when things post on here. 🙂 It sounded like things were getting better on shipping with AT&T, but maybe not. 😟 I thought when you said your new card was charged, that it would go out soon. Hang in there. If it was charged, that should mean soon, I would think. That was crazy what happened with your other order. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it ships soon for you.
