iPhone 6 Plus October Orders!

Hey folks,

Just wanted to start a thread for iPhone 6 Plus October orders.

I placed my order for an AT&T version, 64 GB Space Grey iPhone 6 Plus on October 2, 2014 from the Apple Online Store. My order status is still "processing." I did however, receive a text from AT&T confirming my upgrade to a new 2 year contract. Is this a sign that my order is moving ahead? My supposed ship date is between Oct. 29 - Nov. 5. How are everyone else's orders for October going?

Thanks!

I went in my local at&t and asked my friend that is looking out for a iPhone6 plus for me and he said they have not seen any since the 14 they opened with on the nineteenth of September. Said they would probably not see any for awhile. I think God is trying to teach me patience. I also wonder how China will effect us? Apple really dropped the ball hear as far as I am concerned.

I ordered mine through Apple October 10th, SG 64 GB 6+ and have an estimated delivery between Nov. 3-Nov 7. My phone is almost dead so I had to go the AT&T Next route in order to upgrade 😟. Somehow I have a feeling the delivery is going to be longer than that 😝, but the China release might be crazy, who knows how Apple will handle that. If it looks like it's going to be end of November for delivery I might just cancel the order.

When i went to my local AT&T they said they probably won't see any until the end of November-December.

In my opinion, I try to be more positive, so I guess when Apple launch the other country than not a lot people would focus on buying in US since as right now, there are only a few countries actually have it. Even if someone has money I don't think they can buy this iphone 6/6+. So when Apple launch to the other country the buying force will spread out, reduce the demand in US, and at that time probably there will be some iphone for us.

Just to share my experience, I ordered on September 13th in the afternoon , 128 gb 6 plus Gold and the checkout gave me an original ship date of October 21st. Then when I called they told me my original date was the 28th, moved to the 24th of October. I Still haven't received my phone yet, and at this rate I don't think its going to come a single day early unfortunately. Sighhhhhhh....... : (

Anyone have a similar experience ?

Salutations all,

Order for iPhone 6 +, Slate Gray, 128g placed on 10/01 - Shipping Date 11/10 - 11/19

Since the launch, I've been checking online news sources in hopes of finding a break in any news regarding US iPhone order fulfillment.

I wasn't willing to wait in any of those crazy lines, and didn't think an online pre-order would make a difference. Like clockwork, I've upgraded with the launch of a new iPhone since the first generation original and only waited a couple of weeks at the most to receive my new iPhone when ordering shortly after the launch date. Never been an issue.

On October 1st, I ordered my phone directly in the AT&T store with the Next plan from a representative. When I got home I was annoyed to find my expected ship date was 11/10 - 11/19. Since I placed the order my item status has always reflected "preparing to ship". It sounds like many other people are reflecting otherwise for placement of orders around the same time. My best guess is your order will be fulfilled based upon your place in cue with your provider and your location.

I saw that a few people posted that they had also ordered their phones after the launch and the phone suddenly arrived in like two weeks, so who freakin' knows. One post mentioned that their "Preparing to ship" status never changed, even when the phone had suddenly been delivered.

I think the wait time for this launch is unacceptable. If my iPhone suddenly arrives earlier than expected, I'll follow up. If my shipping date gets extended, I'll complain. LOL.

Pembsman, I ordered a 6+ / 128g / SG from the Sprint Store in person on 19 Sept and was told verbally 4-6 weeks. While I was there a female Marine came in and ordered a 6+ in SG from a different sales associate and was told 3-5 weeks verbally. I don't think they had any idea at the time how long it would take. This Friday will mark the end of the 4th week since I ordered and I will be in that store front and center on my lunch hour to ask for an update.

I am right there with you. I emailed almost this exact post to media.help@apple.com. I told them how I feel that it seems like Apple is mocking their buyers/customers by boasting with press releases on how they are releasing in China, India and Mexico among others, yet cannot fulfill any of our orders where the phone has been out nearly 4 weeks. Telling us you have to still wait 4-6 weeks. Apple has really dropped the ball on this release and who ever is responsable for the forecasting epically failed and should lose their job if they havent alrerady. This will likely be my last iPhone as Apple seems to have grown an even larger head and obviously know we apple followers will continue to sheepishy buy their devices even though they arent even made yet as long as they show us commercials and say that its out. I have half a mind to cancel my order all together and go to the darkside. Apple, you owe all of us who are waiting an explination as to how other countries can get phones made for them, but we cant get them in countries where they have been out nearly 4 weeks.

Thanks for starting this thread. I ordered an ATT Gold 6+ 64 gb on October 5 from apple.com. It's still 'processing', available to ship 3-4 weeks, delivery Oct 31 - Nov 7. As a long-time (since 1994) Apple customer with two previous iPhone upgrades, this is by far the most disappointing roll out of any of their new products I've experienced. As others have said, it's ridiculous for anyone, especially those of you who 'pre-ordered', to wait a month for delivery. Call it what it is....Made-to-Order.

Can you explain your "logic" to me? (Maybe I'm missing something...)

Currently, there are 10s of millions of backordered iPhone 6/6 Pluses in the US. Great Britain has millions back ordered from three weeks ago. There are well over 20 million iPhones currently back-ordered in China right now from two weeks ago. Last week, India launched and I can only assume numbers in the tens of millions as well. Right now, you simply cannot walk into a brick and mortar retailer anywhere in the US, or hop online and purchase an iPhone 6 plus in any configuration. (iPhone 6 are coming through in dribs/drabs, but very limited supply as well.)

How does you make the colossal backwards leap in deduction that demand is less in the US because of "buying forces spreading out around the globe"?

This makes no sense whatsoever. All of these backorders adds up to almost 50 million plus iPhone 6/6 Pluses world-wide (and a lot of ****** off customers). Nobody benefits from Apple launching somewhere else in the world, period. If anything, Apple having product on hand for those launches and taking them out of shipping inventory to do so circumvents my back-order to provide someone walking into a retailer two, three, four weeks afterward the opportunity to "cut in line" and get a phone that should be mine or yours long before we do.

I'd re-think this post through if I were you... Good luck getting your phone, I think we're all going to need it.
