iPhone 6 Plus October Orders!

Hey folks,


Just wanted to start a thread for iPhone 6 Plus October orders.


I placed my order for an AT&T version, 64 GB Space Grey iPhone 6 Plus on October 2, 2014 from the Apple Online Store. My order status is still "processing." I did however, receive a text from AT&T confirming my upgrade to a new 2 year contract. Is this a sign that my order is moving ahead? My supposed ship date is between Oct. 29 - Nov. 5. How are everyone else's orders for October going?

I ordered my 64gig Space Gray Iphone6+ on 9/22 and so far no changes. Estimated delivery date by October 31.....the only thing that changed was this message from sprint (we will do our best to get it to you in 4 to 6 weeks from the date of the order) and it used to say YOU WILL get your order in 4-6 weeks. Guess they realized that it might not even happen by October 31 so they said they will do their best lol.....going craze balls right now! checking literally 6-7 times a day for any status changes.

You might be in luck. I was reading the Att forums and people who ordered after me we're getting their orders earlier. They had even received ship dates of after Thanksgiving. AT&T has been getting them out quicker. Next time I'll go back to my old method of pre-ordering within seconds of the window opening for launch day delivery. I CANNOT and will not do this again.

Hopefully the status on my order changes before this week ends since it is still in Processing items. Ironically I ordered a case even before I ordered the phone (I didn't want risk having it unprotected, I was naive thinking I'd be able to get a Plus a week after launching), but that order seems to be in even worse shape than the iPhone order. Its delivery date has been pushed back more than a couple of weeks, so I will more likely have the phone before the case even ships lol On the bright side Amazon sent me a temporary case (free & for me to keep) so that my device will not be unprotected while I wait for the one I ordered. Little did they know I had already purchased a temporary one already! So now I have 2 temporary cases while I wait for the case I wanted for the phone I still don't have 😝

Thanks. I agree, all the cool cases are for the 6 and just very few options for the 6+. I really like the one I got from Amazon since it was a Hybrid Tough Armor Military Case with Front Cover and Built-in Screen Protector and I found a discount code online, so I ended up paying like 25% of the price plus free shipping, so I felt kind of bad that they sent a temporary case when I didn't even complain about the dates being pushed back since I don't have a phone yet.

If you are looking for an Iphone 6 plus 64G... look no further. They are being sold in ebay. I am ****** to say the least. I have been waiting for my 6plus for a months and their is 100 of them for sale on ebay. How can private parties have then already and sprint and other store has to make their customer wait? unreal. I will be contacting my cousin from CNN to investigate about this. this is mayor BS. 😠

I ordered
my Iphone 6+ Gold 64GB Oct 5th at the ATT store. I decided to wait longer
because I surely thought they would be in stores My
shipping dates are 11-/12-11/21. I'm always checking my order status, my email,
looking online at Idevicechecker.com to check for them in the apple stores. My
order status states " Preparing to ship" but has not changed. I’m
following this thread hopefully see some movement. I hate waiting LOL

Kind of crazy how they are so proud of themselves for having the "fastest-ever iPhone rollout" and saying they are on track. "Releasing" the phones in other countries is a slap in the face to people who haven't received their phones yet. They clearly are having a hard time meeting the demand in this country and its not going to get any better if they keep piling on millions more orders for phones they don't even have made yet.

You think that's bad, I checked with AT&T online today on my order from 9/18 and expressed my disappointment in them taking so long to fill my order. They said they were sorry but there was nothing I could do - I checked back a few minutes ago and the agent who was online with me thought they'd be "cute" and cancelled my order without my permission...


I am being told to call a "specialist" during normal business hours to solve this "issue". Stay tuned - I will let you know what happens. It won't be pretty.

I am "PIST" (beyond that actually). I've spent over an hour climbing the online management ladder trying to get this resolved (a.k.a. having them expedite me the phone I ordered for my trouble) and spinning my wheels. Tomorrow, during "business hours", I'll do the same thing all over again on the phone if I have to. Having to wait from Sept. 18 to the beginning of Nov. was bad enough, but this is CRAZY!!! (Oh, and I'm looking for the chat agent who cancelled my order's head on a pike as well. Don't think I forgot that....lol) 😠

I spoke to an AT&T rep over the phone about two weeks into my preorder which was sep 12, they managed to change my number without it affecting my iphone 6+ preorder but they said if it gets canceled just call and speak to the proper manager so the manager can manually input your preorder again for you. Anyways you can try that, if you give them your confirmation number and etc. you shouldn't have to go so far up unless you want some perks in addition to your order for them horrendously canceling your order on purpose without your permission. btw my order is still scheduled to deliver on 11/09 - 11/27 and has been on backorder since sep 12

Being granfathered with an unlimited plan with AT&T I waited for my two year contract to expire on October 11. I placed my order that day via AT&T's webpage. I'm getting the 6 Plus 128 GB Space Grey. My order shows as processing with an "Expected Ship Date" of 11/19 to 12/01. I am close to canceling my order and stick to my 5 or switch to Samsung. I've had iPhones since the very first one, but this is ridiculous.
